Aga Khan Foundation, International Scholarship Programme
Priority is given to Master level courses, but PhD students also considered. Preference to students under
30 years of age. Applications accepted from nationals of Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan,
Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, and Mozambique. In France,
Portugal, UK, USA and Canada, applications are accepted from those who are originally from one of the

seekers receiving an asylum allowance MUST apply through a recognised organisation which is able to
receive the payment and organise any purchases on behalf of the applicant. Direct payments made to

a first degree or professional qualification in the fields of health and social care through a scholarship

Brittan Scholarship is open to students at either Master’s or undergraduate level who have no more than
two years further to study. The amount awarded will be tuition fees (at home rates between £9,000 -

The organisation’s funding window for Women Human Rights Defenders provides rapid, flexible funding
for those working in areas affected by conflict and crisis. Funding can take the form of either Advocacy
Support, covering logistical expenses associated with meeting or decision-making events which
contribute towards advancing human rights and peace, or Safety Net, covering urgent costs up to the
value of 10,000 USD such as short-term livelihood or protection expenses, including relocation.
