2. Hazards identification
The following hazard Classification and Label elements are attributable to the Stop Solution, which
contains 50% Acetic Acid. The ingredients present in the standards and LAL reagent are in an amount
that does not require labeling accordance with EC directives or respective national laws.
Skin corrosion (Sub-category 1B), H314: Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
Serious eye damage (Category 1), H318: Harmful if swallowed or in contact with skin.

5. Firefighting measures
Preferable firefighting methods: dry chemicals, carbon dioxide, alcohol-resistant foam or sand
depending on the surrounding equipment and materials.
Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors. The product causes burns
of eyes, skin and mucous membranes.
