Use Correlative Conjunctions


Correlative conjunctions always come in pairs, and they appear in different parts of a
sentence. Some correlative conjunctions are both…and, either…or, neither…nor,
not only…but also.
Both my sister and my brother came to the movies with us.
Afterward, we had not only pizza, but also dessert.

Underline the correlative conjunctions in each sentence.

1. You can either come with us or stay home and clean up your room.

2. The day will be both more fun and more interesting if you come.
