of the different community concerns, process, dynamics and lifestyle in order to determine
aspects where students can reflect and can bring an impact to the community they are
immersed. Going through the immersion process and conducting community service
activities/projects enable them to understand how the people feel, think, say and behave as
dictated by their conditions and situations in life. It is one avenue for them to realize that
they are more fortunate than many others and that they can do something to improve the lives
of the marginalized and underserved, as they see themselves the rare opportunity and the
And why should the students need to study the behavior of the people in the community?
The NSTP Act has served as the mandate and core of recognizing the role of the youth in
nation building. Young people are vested with the obligation “to defend the security of the
State and in fulfilment thereof, the government may require each citizen to render personal
military or civil service.” (Section 2. NSTP Act of 2001) whether in times of peace or war.
Thus, aside from becoming socially aware of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats of their communities, students are believed to possess the qualities and energies that

Expected Output:
The anticipated results of bead creating efforts intended to yield revenue may differ
contingent upon multiple elements, such as the skills of the players, the extent of market
demand, and the accessible resources. In addition to intangible outcomes like community
engagement, empowerment, and sustainable economic development, the expected output of
bead crafting activities aimed at generating income includes tangible outcomes like
beadwork products, sales revenue, employment opportunities, and skill development.
.
Methodology:
We will provide in-person instruction for this activity so that participants may pick it
up quickly. We would start by describing this action, along with its goals and purpose.
The second step involves showing them the correct method and process to follow in
order to make a product utilizing beads. After we show them how to produce the beads,
our staff will give them the supplies they need and assist them in creating their own
beads. Our team members will mentor them by giving them the right instructions.
These guidelines can help ensure that bead crafting programs are carried out
successfully, benefiting participants, communities, and larger development objectives.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
PROPONENT OFFICE:
PROGRAM NAME:
I. RATIONALE:
The name "Nutritional Nourishment Initiative: Feeding Program" aims to address the
critical need for comprehensive nutritional support among children, particularly those
facing socio-economic challenges. By providing a structured feeding program, we
endeavor to combat malnutrition and its associated health risks while fostering healthy
growth and development among vulnerable children. This initiative recognizes the
profound impact of proper nutrition on cognitive function, academic performance, and
overall well-being. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, we seek to
create a sustainable framework that empowers children with the essential nutrients they
need to thrive, thus laying a strong foundation for their future success and well-being.
Performance/Activity Indicator:
By learning how to create simple nail art designs from scratch, participants can discover
their creativity, develop new skills, and explore potential career opportunities in the beauty
industry. For stay-at-home parents, this activity provides a creative outlet that can also
serve as a source of additional income. For teens, it's an opportunity to explore art as a
potential career path and develop valuable skills in a supportive environment. In a time
where more people are staying at home, this project seeks to harness the potential of art as
a means of empowerment, skill development, and financial stability.
Objectives:
This activity aims to:
6|Page
Create a livelihood: This project aims to target people, especially stay-at-home
parents and teens, to help them create another source of income.
Promotion of Art: Creating a source of income through art is a topic that has been
around in our society but is not taken seriously; we wanted to show that through art,
there is money, and by promoting art, we are also dismantling this negative
connotation with it.
The "Artistic Nails Initiative: Crafting Careers in Beauty" project activity is expected to
yield several significant outcomes. Firstly, participants will develop advanced skills in nail
artistry, including proficiency in techniques, polish application, and creative design
principles. This skill development will empower them to express their creativity and
artistic flair effectively. Secondly, participants will gain essential knowledge in
entrepreneurship, business planning and client management, preparing them for potential
careers as nail art entrepreneurs. Additionally, the activity will provide a platform for
participants to explore and discover their passion for nail artistry, potentially leading to
exciting career paths in the beauty industry. For stay-at-home parents, this initiative offers
an opportunity for financial empowerment through freelance nail art services or home-
based businesses. Moreover, the activity will foster personal growth, increased confidence,
and self-expression among participants, contributing to their overall well-being. Lastly, the
community-building aspect of the activity will create a supportive environment for
learning, collaboration, and mutual encouragement, ultimately enhancing awareness and
appreciation for nail art as a form of artistry.
Methodology:
For this project, we would like to conduct it through face-to-face adaptation, in which all
the chosen participants will be gathered in the same area, preferably a covered court or any
shelter area that could accommodate people in a convenient manner. Crowdsourcing will
be implemented in order to choose the partakers prior to or on the date of the official visit.
The flow of the event should start with an introductory speech by the co-chairperson of the
7|Page
involved members of the project. Additionally, the objectives should be presented to the
participants as well as the events to take place; hence, elaborating on the activities to be
conducted for the majority’s awareness. Moreover, acknowledging the presence of the
participating individuals should be done to recognize their participation. The team should
be divided into two to supervise the target participants: one team for the at-home parents,
and the other team to supervise the teens. Applying nail art polish should be properly
discussed and demonstrate with the participants in order to familiarize them with the
procedures aforementioned. Each activity should be presented by the proponent with
advanced knowledge of the said tasks. When the task-making begins, support should be
given to the assigned members of the project in order to attend to possible inquiries and
also aid the participants concerns. Through this, we would like to attain a smooth flow for
the project.

NARRATIVE REPORT
immersion. Which led by the evening class students of Philippine Women’s College of
During the first day we conducted a “Feeding Program for Children” that was held in
Barangay 76-A Yakal St. Ecoland, Davao City last May 11, 2024. The class was divided into
4 groups which composed of 8-9 members. Their task is to entertain the children, assists the
children, and help the children to learn the basic hands hygiene while waiting for their food to
be cooked and serve. This program aims to help those less fortunate children to have a proper
meal and to learn the basic hand hygiene that they could use on their daily routine.
On May 18, 2024 the second day of immersion we conducted a “Clean-up Drive”
which held in our very own school Philippine Women’s College of Davao. Everyone is
required to collect garbage such as dried leaves, cellophanes, plastics and others. By the help
of everyone we were able to clean the specific areas that was given to us. Clean-up drive
activity made us realize how important it is to maintain the cleanliness of our surroundings.
Clean and green environment gives us positive aura or ambience. Good ambience brings
peace and more likely give us a good health mentally, physically, spiritually, and
emotionally.
On May 25, 2024 the third day of our community service, we planted mangroves trees
on the other side of our location near the shore. Everyone was instructed carefully by the
team leader or the lead man of the mangroves planting field. Through him we’re able to
identify the male and female type of mangroves. The whole activity was a blast, we learn to
appreciate more the beauty of nature. That in the future will be able to look back and see the

roots of the trees that we planted. We have enjoyed the whole journey of our NSTP class. We
can definitely say that we are productive, and we contributed something good in our
community.
Although some of the students have not experienced life in the said areas, the
objective of letting them realize how fortunate they are being students, and letting them give
