Taller 7 Inglés P2 T1
Esta guía de aprendizaje de inglés para el trabajo en casa se preparó con el fin de ayudar a su hijo o hija
a revisar el vocabulario relacionado con pasatiempos y actividades de tiempo libre para utilizarlo en
actividades de comprensión de lectura y en escritura.
Su hijo (a) deberá dedicar una hora y quince minutos para desarrollar toda la guía. El trabajo aquí
descrito se relaciona con la página 11 del libro del estudiante Way to Go 7, que está disponible en la
plataforma Colombia Aprende. Se adjuntó la página del libro al final de la guía para quienes no tienen
acceso a internet.
- La actividad 1 son dos ejercicios de práctica del vocabulario en inglés sobre pasatiempos y actividades
de tiempo libre.
- La actividad 2 invita al estudiante a analizar el uso de las expresiones de frecuencia; para esto, su
hijo(a) debe referirse al ejercicio 4 de la página 11 del libro del estudiante y contestar unas preguntas.
- La actividad 4 está diseñada para reconocer las formas verbales después de ciertos verbos como enjoy
(disfrutar), like (gustar) y love (amar). Se muestra un texto completo en el cual se señala las partes
de este las cuales servirán como guía de reconocimiento de las formas verbales. En seguida el
estudiante debe completar otro texto, se presentan tres posibles respuestas (a, b, c) por cada espacio,
el estudiante debe seleccionar una sola respuesta y marcarla.
- La actividad 5 busca que el estudiante escriba un texto sencillo acerca de lo que le gusta y lo que no le
gusta; puede usar los ejercicios del punto 4 como referencia.
- La actividad 6 consiste en que su hijo(a) auto-evalúe lo aprendido tras el desarrollo de las actividades
propuestas en esta guía.
Además, se ofrecen ejemplos de las actividades, las respuestas correctas y recursos adicionales de
apoyo. Agradecemos su colaboración supervisando que su hijo(a) complete las actividades indicadas. Al
final, ustedes encontrarán una serie de preguntas de verificación de lo que su hijo(a) aprendió mediante
el desarrollo de esta guía.

WELCOME TO THIS SELF-STUDY GUIDE
This self-study guide helps you practise the different English language skills and competences. The tasks
start with a practice related to vocabulary about free time activities, consequently frequency expressions
are reviewed. After that, you will read a short text and answer different types of comprehension
questions. Finally, you will review and practice the present simple and the gerund form (-ing) for some
verbs through a writing task.

F. Open your “Way to Go Student's Book” on page 11, Exercise 3. Read the poster and match the
questions with the right paragraph.

Hello Panchita,
I just want to tell you how my trip is going on. I really enjoy traveling around the world and I like meeting new people and
places, everything is lovely. I met Juan, he is from Peru, he is nice and very kind, we have much in common. We love
listening to music, so we often go to pubs and places where we can listen and enjoy different types of music. Juan also
likes cooking, he prepares wonderful dishes, especially seafood.
I also take advantage of my free time to read my favorite books, you know I love reading my books. This trip has been very
