GOLF PLAYERS
GOLFERS ARE PLAYING: 4-BALL, YELLOW BALL, ALLIANCE, NO SCRAMBLE, YELLOW BALL AND BEST PLAYER
SCORE TO COUNT.

 A shotgun start means that all teams (4-players per team) are each at one of the 18 tee-offs at the same
time. At 09:00 a siren will go off to indicate that the game has started. In the “olden days” it used to be a
shotgun, thus the name!
 At holes 2, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 18 there is a 2nd tee-off that will start 10 minutes after the initial tee-
off. The advantage of a shotgun start is that you can limit the number of players to an easier flowing field
and that all players will (theoretically) finish at the same time, which is approx. 5 hours of play.
 4-Ball, Yellow Ball, Alliance means that 4 players play together as a team. At a hole, the best I.P.S
(Individual Point Stableford) counts. The yellow ball is rotated between the players at each tee-off so
that at every next tee-off another player will take a turn to play with the yellow ball. The yellow ball's
score counts on the scorecard as well as the 1st best score of the other players. In other words, there will
be two scores that will count. Every player plays of his/her own drive. No scramble drive.
 If the yellow ball gets lost, find us at the clubhouse or phone 071 341 4743 to get a new yellow ball at
R200 cost per ball, so that the game may continue.
 Please take note NO ALCOHOL FOR THE CADDIES.
 Players who make use of Walker Park and B2B Golf Carts, please note that you are responsible for fair
usage of the carts.
 B2B GOLF CAR HIRE INDEMNITY FORM MUST BE FILLED IN WHEN CHECKING IN ON THE MORNING.
I hereby declare that I understand the conditions pertaining to the rental of Golf Cars at Reading Country
Club. Further I agree that no claims relating to the above shall be made against Walker Park Golf Club and
B2B
1. Damage caused to Golf Cars through negligent driving, abuse or incorrect use shall be the responsibility
