1. Introduction

1.1 Problem
Provide a clear and concise overview of the problem. I should be able to read this alone
and communicate the value/risks to someone else.

1.2 Scope
Define the boundaries of the product, specifying what is included and excluded from the
current scope. Include goals and non-goals.

List and describe specific user stories that represent the functional requirements of the
product.

3. Features and Functionality

3.1 Core Features


Outline the essential features that must be included in the product, ideally in priority
order.

3.2 Enhancements
Specify additional features or improvements that would enhance the product but are not
critical for the initial release.

3.3 Dependencies
Identify any external dependencies or requirements that may impact the development or
delivery of the product.

4. Design and User Experience


We probably will not have wireframes/ mockups for all our products at ML Enablement.
Leverage what is needed to communicate the user experience.

4.1 Wireframes
Include wireframes that illustrate the layout and structure of key screens or interfaces.

4.2 User Flow Diagrams

Visualize the user journey through the product with detailed user flow diagrams.

4.3 Mockups

Provide visual representations of the product's final design through high-fidelity


mockups.

Partner with Engineering Leads and Eng Partners to fill out this section.

5.1 Data formats/ Workflows


Specify the data formats and workflows the product will support.

5.2 System Architecture


Describe the overall architecture and technology stack required for the product. A high
level overview is sufficient here. Technical design doc can be linked once it is available.
5.3 Integration Points
Identify any external/ internal systems or APIs the product needs to integrate with.

6.1 Metrics
Define key metrics (quantitative and qualitative) that will be used to assess the success
of the product.

Define performance and latency benchmarks and expectations for the product
