Giving care to the needy.

A sneak peek into my

Professional journey and
Work-Life related
activities.
INTRODUCTION.
I Phybian Jemutai, I am a God fearing determined, hardworking, qualified and capable
individual with ability to work under minimal or no supervision. I have acquired good
interpersonal skills, easily trainable, fast learner with high level of discipline. My career
objective is to always meet organizational goals and objectives by employing my knowledge and
skills in executing my duties and confirming to the competitive nature of the world and to
enhance performance through establishing a high integral practice skill from the knowledge
acquired in my course to work in challenging environment which provides room for practicing
the knowledge and skills so far acquired to contribute the success of the organization.

My medical experience began at Msambweni County Referral Hospital where my days were
braided with responsibilities that were more than just chores; they were essential
components of my purpose. My daily life as a Certified Nursing Assistant was a symphony of
urgency: pinpoint emergency response, drills that refined our preparedness, and acting as a
fortress against the wrath of unexpected situations. Supervising required a strong will backed
up with procedures for responding to emergency or the needs of the patient, though to me
they ended up becoming family.
Every obstacle faced while performing duty, every lesson learned from the grueling trials,
shaped not only abilities but also a character forged in the furnace of misfortune. My journey's
symphony is filled with the bravery of fortitude, the harmony of flexibility, and the unwavering
pursuit of perfection.

I take the ashes of experiences with me as I stand on the edge of tomorrow, ready to explore
new territory and preserve not just the sacredness of family ties but also the domains of fire.
Being a Certified Nursing Assistant is more than just a job; it's a sacred pledge and evidence of
unflinching dedication in the face of life's flaming crucibles.

COMPANY AND ROLES PLAYED.

The foundation for my career was established during my employment with Msambweni County Referral
Hospital from 2021 to 2022, where I first gained a comprehensive understanding of the medical
world which introduced me to the complex artistry of making sure that my patients are well
taken care off and receiving the proper medical attention. My attention to detail was sharpened
to an extreme degree during this first venture into the fast-paced world of medicine, and the
constant quest of excellence became a way of life.
My duties as a Certified Nursing Assistant included taking care of the elderly with special needs,
administering medication to in-patient, cleaning and feeding the patient, monitoring their vital
signs as I provide patient education. Assessing the patients’ needs and making sure they are
comfortable and well taken of. My work schedule in this difficult field frequently started in the
early hours and I clocked out in the late hours at night, which is a concrete example of the
unwavering effort to guarantee that products get at their destinations on time.
These experiences have combined to shape the edges of my knowledge and each represents a
stroke on the larger picture of my career development which help me discover the meaning of
bravery in the face of uncertainty and the bravery needed to negotiate the stormy waters of
emergencies in the medical field. Not only were the emergency responses that served as
teachers, teaching lessons about fortitude and the steadfast spirit needed to hold on in the face
of adversity.

CHALLENGES AND PROBLEM-SOLVING.

While at Msambweni County Referral hospital I encountered the following challenges like risk
of burnout, providing comfort to a family whose critically ill, dealing with death and grief, caring
for dying patients, working in sometimes dangerous conditions where you have to deal with
patients who have infectious diseases. During home-based care patients can feel disconnected
from their support networks and communities which leads them to feel lonely and depressed
therefore having a negative impact on the patient’s mental and physical health.
To the heavy workload I prioritized my tasks and effectively communicated with the health care
team, since the job is emotionally draining, I developed coping strategies and seek support
from colleagues, dealing with communication barriers I utilized translation services when
language differences are a barrier. Dealing with difficult patients helped me develop patients,
empathy and effective communication skills, dealing with physical strain made me implement
proper body mechanics and use assistive devices when necessary.
These challenges can help address common challenges faced by nurse aides. The true test of
ruggedness is not avoiding misfortune but rather rising to the occasion with a spirit of
determination.

LESSONS LEARNED.
My career experience is a fabric of essential lessons, with every step of the way serving as a
school for both professional and personal development. My biggest teachers have always been
uncertainties, who have emphasized the unwavering importance of resilience. With every
obstacle I've encountered, I've gained not only answers but also a sophisticated comprehension
of the nuances of the path. The virtue of patience, which is put to the test amid unforeseen
emergencies and dealing with death, has become essential. My everyday practice incorporates
the talent of adaptability, which I have developed via weather swings and unforeseen
occurrences. A sharp eye for detail, which is essential for maneuvering through the medical
field, has become my compass in navigating the mazelike path that is my career.
Maintaining composure in the face of stress was a quality that was fostered in the constant
upheaval of crises. Not only did the emergencies response put my physical strength to the test,
but they also tried my mental toughness: my capacity to make decisions in the face of
uncertainty, negotiate chaos with composure, and be the steadfast light in the middle of a
storm.
ASPIRATIONS.
When faced with a challenging workload, expectations become realistic. It is a show of
recognition of the dynamic nature of the profession rather than trepidation to anticipate
obstacles. But beyond the expectation of difficulties, there is a deeper expectation: the
expectation of development. The goal is to always improve on both a professional and personal
level rather than just finishing tasks assigned to one's employment. My work life is
characterized by a rough tone that is not rooted in complacency, but rather echoes a never-
ending quest for perfection and improvement. All the obstacles I confront is seen as a chance
for improvement rather than a barrier, and this mindset drives my unwavering dedication to
pushing boundaries and attaining greatness in all aspect of my professional life.
My drive to learn more is what keeps me moving forward and makes sure I meet and even
exceed the standards set by a constantly changing market. The road is a means of constant
learning and development rather than just a means to an end, and my expectations are
adapted to the changing cadence of this adventure.

BALANCING WORK AND FAMILY.

It takes constant tightrope walking—a careful dance between dedication and treasured
moments—to strike a balance between the spheres of duty and family. I've discovered that this
arrangement necessitates a symphony of priorities, where every note has profound meaning, in
addition to time management.
My guide in negotiating this delicate dichotomy grew adept at using time with precision. The
times I spent with family and friends became more than just breaks in my calendar; they
became moorings in the turbulent ocean of obligations. Every hug and every belly laugh turned
into a haven from the responsibilities of life.
However, I've discovered that, within this delicate balance, what matters is the quality that is
ingrained in those ephemeral moments rather than the amount of time spent. Every
experience, no matter how long or short, turned into a treasure trove—a chance to make
enduring memories that go beyond the passage of time.
This balance goes beyond simply clocking in and out. It is not limited by the clock. Finding true
balance in the hectic schedule of a professional driver can be achieved by making time for
meaningful experiences. Although the path is not without its difficulties, it takes deliberate
effort and unflinching determination to make sure the journey does not become a lonely
undertaking. It is during these intentional times together that business and family life coexist in
harmony.

CONCLUSION.
Every event that has happened to me at work has been like a stitch in a quilt, illustrating how I
overcame obstacles and persisted. I started at Msambweni County Referral Hospital and quickly
learned how to handle issues with taking care of patients, collaborate with others, and pay
close attention to medicine dosage. It made me more resilient by forcing me to remain strong
and think quickly.
The constant quest of perfection has served as the driving force, resonating through all of the
difficulties, victories, and lessons learned. Every note in this symphony is the result of arduous
labor, perseverance in the face of adversity, and a dedication to producing only the finest.
I'm dedicated to forging ahead in the domains of duty and family with the same enthusiasm and
will that I've applied to confronting fierce obstacles. In addition to achieving professional
success, my goal is to treasure my family's warmth and support and to uphold and follow the
principles of obligation.
I am carrying the weight of all my experiences with me as I move forward: a resilient armory, a
steady spirit, and an unflinching commitment to serving as a pillar of protection. It's about
preserving the sacredness of duty while simultaneously celebrating the special times spent with
loved ones as I continue on this path of personal and professional development.
