information; low cost (your idea) Well, you know, there are various sources for us to collect information, but internet is the good source. First of all, the first thing we can realize that the internet helps us gather materials quickly, easily without taking much effort and save maximum time. Secondly, thank to the internet, you can access the documents at anytime and anywhere: at school, bedroom, hospital, café and so on. Last but not least, the internet documantation has a high updated. As we know the internet always update information every hour, every minute, even every second. Therefore, we will have a latest source about the issue that we concern. In a nutshell, internet is a good material to collect information. 2. Online learning Bài 1 Well, you know, in my opinion, distance learning brings many benefits for students. There are three main advantages to explain for that. Firstly, it is more convenient than other methods of learning. You can attend online classes anytime, anywhere you have web access. You can also access course materials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I usually learn through my computer when going out with my friends, maybe at a café shop or a park. Secondly, you'll benefit from a flexible schedule, which is extremely helpful if you're balancing your education with work and family life. When you want to continue your learning after the marriage, online education is the best way because you can access anytime without domestic chores. Finally, online programs have lower costs than attending a prestigious school. You only have to pay the Internet fees or if a small amount of money for materials you want further. In a nutshell, there are several advantages of online learning that explains why online learning may be the greatest revolution in today’s education. Bài 2 Nowadays learning on the internet has become increasingly popular because of its great benefits, especially to students. In the first place, online learning is very convenient. You know, students can learn whenever and wherever they want. Only with a mobile phone or a computer connected to the internet can students get access to a rich source of information on almost any subject. Secondly, it is very affordable to study online. Well, students can do research using online resources at very low cost or even at no charge. Many websites provides free access to an abundant source of information while others offer online courses at a very low cost which might be just a part of traditional course. Moreover, because students can study at their own place, they can save time and money to travel to traditional classes. Last but not least, online courses are more interesting thanks to the application of technology. It is true that technology is a powerful tool to engage students. It can make students more involved in the lessons due to the combination of sounds, images, games etc. In conclusion, studying on the internet brings considerable benefits to learners Bài 3
3. Study abroad I totally agree that there are numerous advantages of studying overseas. First of all, students can have better education. It is true that foreign countries often offer better courses because they employ excellent teachers who are experts in different fields. Moreover, universities are often equipped with modern facilities which support students’ learning. Secondly, students can become more independent. I mean that they live on their own so they have to do everything by themselves like cleaning the house, cooking, controlling time and money and so on. Besides, living far away from home also gives students many opportunities to improve their social skills. Finally, with a degree from a wellknown university in another country, people can find a better job with higher salary. Furthermore, they can learn a foreign language while studying abroad so it’s easy for them to look for employment in a foreign company when they return to their home country. In conclusion, overseas courses offer learners a variety ofmerits, namely better education, more independence and job prospects. 4. Computer games Nowadays more and more people are interested in playing games, especially children. While I accept there are some advantages but it seems to me that the potential dangers of video games outweigh the benefits. Computer games merely provide entertainment. Children who are addicted to computer games tend to have poor grades because they do not get enough time to focus on their studies. Also, they have reduced social skills. They are constantly glued to their screens and show hardly any interest in interacting with their family members or peers. This can lead to social isolation and serious behavioural problems. Some popular computer games glorify violence and crime. Children who grow up playing these games may get into anti-social activities. Even if they don’t become criminals in the future, they may still exhibit a disregard for values. Computer games also cause vision problems in children. Children are not supposed to stare at the computer screen for hours on end. If they do, they will develop serious eye strain which may also affect their studies. In my opinion, parents should restrict the amount of time their children spend in front of the computers. That said, there is no harm in playing a game or two every now and then, but addiction is definitely a problem.
