The term "social media" generally refers to platforms and technologies that enable users to create and share content or participate in
social networking (Oxford Languages, n.d.). These platforms facilitate interaction and communication among individuals and groups
through digital means, often allowing for real-time engagement and user-generated content (Kaplan & Haenlein, 2010).

Social media has profoundly transformed the way we communicate, interact, and share information in this digital connected world.
Technologies enable individuals to communities, connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas, social media has become an integral part of
daily life for billions through the world. It encompasses multimedia sharing, live streaming, and real-time messaging, social media
continues to evolve rapidly. It bridges geographical boundaries, share information dissemination, and empowers users to express
themselves through creativity and social skills. However, along with its benefits, social media also raises significant societal and ethical
concerns, including privacy issues, misinformation dissemination, and the impact on mental health and well-being. As we look deeper
into the complexities of social media, understanding its multifaceted role in shaping modern communication and society becomes
increasingly crucial in life totality.

This research has shown that, the impact of social media on mental health is complex and multifaceted. While it can provide social
support, facilitate connections, and offer access to valuable information, it also poses risks such as cyberbullying, feelings of inadequacy
due to comparisons, and addiction. This research has concluded that the excessive use of social media may contribute to mental health
such as anxiety, depression, and a distorted sense of reality. Moderation and awareness of one's usage and habits are crucial for
maintaining positive mental health in the digital age, little recreation was seen as the social digital environment now taking the place of
naturing our world while nature is gradually being altered especially for the younger generation. While cyberbullying becoming a silence
but yet noticeable attacks on individuals that frequently visits the social media platform
