    GENERATING SET Compact MAGE

    CONTROLLER

    The COMPACT MAGE system is an electronic module dedicated to automatic control of generating set. Moreover
    command functions, it includes security and protection for generating set applications.

    OVERVIEW

    Human machine interface is build around a 5-touchs keyboard and a LCD display with backlight. The graphical view of
    synoptic is flexible to the application configuration : genset stand-alone, emergency genset, normal/backup genset. Four
    languages are available for end users (French, English, Italian and Spanish).

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    - Control of the generating set starter


    - Control of the automatic transfer switch
    - Control of auxiliary systems : fuel pump, preheating, dummy load, unballast 2 outputs, …
    - Faults control and alarms management
    - Display of machine state and measurements
    - Generating set maintenance management
    - Engine electronic link : CAN SAE-J1939
    - Four operating modes : manual, automatic, test and stop
    - Configurable from front panel.
    - Clocked event log with 256 entries.
    - Automatic periodic test of generating set.

    - 12 relay outputs 250VAC 6A.
    - Alternator and mains voltage measurements on 3 phases with or without neutral, frequency measurement.
    - Current and alternator power measurements on 3 phases.
    - Computing of active, reactive and apparent power, cosinus phi, energy counting.
    - Three engine measurements : oil pressure, water temperature and fuel level.
    - Battery voltage measurement.
    - Speed measurement by magnetic pickup or alternator voltage
    - Serial link V24-RS232C with MODBUS protocol.
    - Link CAN 250kBit/s.
