GRADE 11 STEM RESEARCH CONGRESS

11-STEM RIZAL & JAENA Rooms


May 17, 2024 8:00 – 2:00 PM

For Oral Presentation Guidelines:

1. Each group presenter will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to present their


paper.
2. Number of slides: maximum of 15 slides only covering the title and authors’
information, rationale, objectives, methods, results and discussion,
conclusion and recommendation, pictorials.
3. Each slide should contain a maximum of 8 lines. Avoid wordy presentations.
It is encouraged to use graphics, concept maps, tables, pictures, or
illustrations. Use of appropriate colors for background and texts.
4. Parts of the Power point presentation:
a. Title and Name of Researchers
b. Rationale, goals, objectives/statement of the problem, and conceptual
framework
c. Research Methods/ Methodology (Summary of materials/treatments
used)
d. Results and Discussion (Summary of salient findings only)
e. Conclusion and Recommendations (Synthesize)
f. Pictorials (1 slide only)
Note: Please avoid a wordy presentation
5. The time limit is set for each presenter must be strictly observed. Each
presenter is allotted 3 minutes to present. After which, the panelists will
conduct a 3-minute Q and A.
For Poster Presentation and STEM Expo Format and Guidelines:

1. Tarpaulin size is 2.5 x 6 ft. lengthwise.


2. Make the text easy to read, concise and logical.
3. Bring your own poster stand / standee.
4. For Robotics and Innovation expo or product-based researches, please bring
small table for your product display.
5. Each group (2-3 members) will present the poster to the panel.
6. Each group will be given enough time to answer or present during the gallery
walk depending on the questions to be given by the panel.
7. Content of the Poster:
a. Title
b. Name of Researchers with picture
c. Abstract
d. Rationale/Background of the Study
e. Methods
f. Results and Discussion (Include summary of data with short analysis)
g. Conclusion and Recommendations
h. Pictorials
For Paper Presentation:

1. For the paper, submit 4 hardcopies


2. Format:
a. Font style – Times New Roman
b. Font size – 12
c. Spacing – Double spacing
d. Paper Size – A4
e. Margin – 1 inch on all sides
f. Pagination – upper right corner
