    Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, an Institution of eminence deemed to be


    University, invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the VGST funded research
    project in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.

    Project title: Design and Development of low energy hydrodynamic cavitation-based homogenizer
    for the synthesis of food and pharmaceutical grade oil-in-water nanoemulsions: Experimental &
    Molecular Simulations Insights
    Sponsor: Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST), Govt. of Karnataka
    Principal Investigator: Dr. Jitendra Carpenter
    Duration of engagement: Initially for 01 year however may be extended based on the
    performance. Based on the research performance, the candidate will be encouraged to enroll for
    a PhD degree.

    Positions Eligibility and Job Description Remuneration


    Eligibility: M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/
    Nanotechnology/Food Engineering/ Food Technology/Oil and
    surfactant technology/ Pharmaceutical Science & technology or
    any of the related fields
    Junior OR
    Rs. 25,000/
    Research M.Sc in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical
    per month
    Fellow Sciences with at least 01 of research experience in any of the
    (Consolidated)
    (Post: 01) reputed institute/organization.
    Job description: The job role will be to assist in the designing of
    homogenizer, execution of experiments, generation of
    experimental datas, their interpretation, analysis and report
    writing.
