What are SDG'S or Global Goals?
SDG'S (Sustainable Development Goals) or Global Goals are a
collection of 17 interlinked goal for the world to be a
"shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and
the planet, now and into the future". SDG'S were set up in
2015,By the United nations National Assembly and are
intended to be acheived by around 2030,for a better future
for our descendants and a better future for ourselves.
Goal 1:End Poverty
Goal 1 calls for an end to poverty in all its
manifestations by 2030. It also aims to ensure
social protection for the poor and vulnerable,
increase access to basic services and support people
harmed by climate-related extreme events and other
economic, social and environmental shocks and
disasters.
In order to achieve the SDGs, we must target those living in
vulnerable situations, increasing access to basic resources and
services, and support communities affected by conflict and
climate-related disasters. Ending poverty is one of 17 Global
Goals that make up the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Goal 2:Zero Hunger
Sustainable Development Goal 2 aims to achieve
"zero hunger". The official wording is: "End
hunger, achieve food security and improved
nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture".

This would be accomplished by doubling agricultural

productivity and incomes of small-scale food producers
(especially women and indigenous peoples), by ensuring
sustainable food production systems, and by progressively
improving land and soil quality.
Goal 3:Good Health And Well Being
Sustainable Development Goal 3, regarding
"Good Health and Well-being", The official
wording is: "To ensure healthy lives and
promote well-being for all at all ages."

SDG 3 aspires to ensure health and well-being for all,

including a bold commitment to end the epidemics of AIDS,
tuberculosis, malaria and other communicable diseases by
2030. It also aims to achieve universal health coverage, and
provide access to safe and effective medicines and vaccines
for all.
Goal 4:Quality Education
Sustainable Development Goal 4 is about
quality education. The full title of SDG
4 is "Ensure inclusive and equitable
quality education and promote lifelong
learning opportunities for all"
Education is the key that will allow many other Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved. When people are able to
get quality education they can break from the cycle of poverty.
Education therefore helps to reduce inequalities and to reach
gender equality.
Goal 5:Gender Equality
Achieve gender equality and empower all
women and girls. Gender equality is not
only a fundamental human right, but a
necessary foundation for a peaceful,
prosperous and sustainable world.

Providing women with equal access to education, health

care, decent work, and representation in political and
economic decision-making processes is fundamental for
social cohesion and prosperity.
Goal 6:Clean Water And
Sanitation
Sustainable Development Goal 6 is about "clean
water and sanitation for all". The official
wording is: "Ensure availability and sustainable
management of water and sanitation for all."
SDG 6 focuses on ensuring a clean and stable water
supply and effective water sanitation for all people by
the year 2030. The goal is a reaction to the fact that
many people throughout the world lack these basic
services. About 40 percent of the world's population is
affected by a lack of water.
Goal 7:Affordable And Clean Energy

It aims to "Ensure access to

affordable, reliable, sustainable
and modern energy for all."

It's three core targets are the foundation

for our work: Ensure universal access to
affordable, reliable and modern energy
services.
