textile counterparts, synthetic materials also come in a variety of colors and textures.

the years has been made from polyester, a more environmentally-sound natural rubber

ACTIVITY 2
DIRECTIONS: Find the former OFW to be interviewed. Use the following guide questions (You
may add additional questions).

A. How long have you stayed abroad?

I stayed 2 year and 5 months only I just finish my contract.

B. What are the purposes of your stay abroad?

Many people stay back for longer duration to make use of opportunities available
abroad post education. Many foreign countries do provide huge employment
opportunities, improved standard of living, higher emoluments, chances of growth etc.
Also due to marriage to a person settled abroad, the spouse is forced to stay back.

C. What were your most unforgettable experiences there?

This was during my first week in China. A Mandarin-speaking Singaporean companion

took me to an eatery, she said she enjoyed the spot, In reality. The food was
scrumptious. The café was perfect. The costs were acceptable. It was only a short stroll
from where I was working. However the menu was in Mandarin just, they had a major
board on the divider showing photos of the relative multitude of dishes - ideal for an
uneducated individual like me. A couple of days after the fact, as yet during my first
week in China, I went to the café alone, it was a bit late so there could have been no
different cafes in the eatery. I went to the board and brought up what I needed. The
leader wrote down my request and energetically went in to the kitchen to arrange the
food. In any case, I was unable to arrange the rice to go with the dishes!! There was no
image of rice on the board. Also, I had no real way to reveal to her that I needed rice. I
ate the food without rice. What's more, delighted in it.

D. How will you compare the Philippines with other countries?

Roman Catholic is our major religion, from Spanish colonialism while our neighboring
SEA countries has Buddhism and other religions. We don't have confucian teachings
although it's a very good one. While eating we don't use chopsticks most of the time
unlike other Asian countries, we never learned this as kids. I envy how they can catch
flies with these 2 sticks! We learned to use spoon and fork and sometimes with knife.
We don't have unique to Asia temples like those you see in other Asian countries,
instead, you see Spanish churches and remnants of Spanish colonialism, so if you want
to see how Spanish regime was, Philippines is the only place to see these in Asia. The
obvious that we speak English way better. other than the advantage of landing overseas
jobs, there's not much about it. in other Asians countries, when you use English
language and you're grammar is bad, it's ok, but in the Philippines, when you use English
badly, you will be ridiculed. Filipinos are truly overall quite conscious to outsiders, and
as a male you can without much of a stretch meet a decent nearby young lady there. In
different nations except if you're a drawn out expat, the solitary young ladies who might
be keen on you are either gold diggers or whores, nearby young ladies in different
nations consider a to be as something weird they likely would not comprehend.

E. Do you want to go back abroad? Why or why not?

Yes I still want to go to abroad to experience different styles of education, Immerse

yourself in a new culture, develop my language skills by interact with other people, try
or find new interests, and personal development. Traveling to another country allows
you the opportunity to encounter various ways to deal with training and work. You'll
figure out how to see study, examination and work through a global focal point. It could
make you fully aware of new scholastic and expert prospects. It's something to be a
traveler. It's one more to in reality live there, be essential for the local area and find new
food sources, customs, and customs. You'll see and experience your place of study the
manner in which local people do.

destitute haven for families close to your place, consider parting with toys that your
youngster has grown out of. On the off chance that you can bear, you can even
purchase new toys for them. Watch the little faces light up as they open up the toys and
happily play with them. give compliments, A decent commendation from an all out
outsider can do ponders. At that point this youthful fellow in a store remarked how
great they looked and that was all you expected to hear to fulfill you for that day. Try
not to keep down on praises.

2. Loyalty

I always support my friend’s dream to be a doctor or nurse by just be their when she/he
fill depressed or lonely, career goal by offering to help them study for an exam or test.
Sometimes I say, “Just know that I am here for you if you need someone to talk to” or
“I’m always willing to listen to you and hear you out.” instead of judging a friend who is
struggling with addiction, support their efforts to get help. And don't let a family
member's different lifestyle choices blind you to all the reasons why you care about
them.

3. Courage

Helping out a person or animal in need, even if it might put me in a little bit of danger.
Doing something that might be a little risky such as sky diving or jump on the falls for the
first time. You cut out time from your bustling timetable for self-care. This may not seem
like fortitude to you yet let's be honest, the vast majority of us have such a bustling
timetable that dealing with ourselves is our last need. It shows mental fortitude to say
"no;" no to your partners and no to your family, and to pronounce that you need time
alone, or you need time to work out or have a young lady's night out. You need a break
and perceiving that and regarding that need takes boldness.
