NARRATIVE REPORT ON 2024 NATIONAL WOMEN’S


MONTH CELEBRATION
MARCH 21, 2024
Every month of March, the most awaited event is the WOMEN’S MONTH
Celebration. Where women are given a chance to express their
right and duties for the welfare of everybody as women to proclaim
that they are not only in line of fashion and beauty they have also the
guts and glory to compete others.

In concordance with the country’s celebration on ‘Women’s Month’, the


San Jacinto National High School conducted activities for the 2024
Celebration of National Women’s Month with the theme “ Lipunang Patas
sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan Patutunayan”

The celebration was initiated by the Junior GAD coordinator, Mrs


Jacqueline R. Galvez; Senior GAD coordinator, Norman James S. Cuyo;
together with the Guidance designate, Mrs Ma. Theresa M. Agsaoay; SSLG
coordinator Mary Grace Currachea, with the help of the Faculty and Staff
of SJNHS, students, and through the support and guidance of the school
head Mdm Flora E. Condes, Principal III, the celebration was aimed to
inform and engage women as stakeholders of government programs and
services and promote a change in every human of the society specially
the women. This celebration was created to inspire women especially the
single mothers by the invited speakers through their experiences and give
some insights on how they cope- up with their struggles they
encountered.

As part/mentors of San Jacinto National High School we also have


activities prepared for this celebration to awaken our hearts and desire to
share good things inculcated by one’s women heart to our fellowmen. To
show that we are still able to share our talents and skills, we are person
need respect and sympathy. In changing we arrive progress in work for
betterment of everyone.

Among the activities were poster and slogan making contest, and
Likhawitan that showcase the talent of the students in composing their
original songs which in line with the given theme of the Women’s Month.
Part of the program highlights the #JuanaSays 2024 which feature the
daily inspirational statements from women who have made a significant
impact, shattered stereotypes, and played a pivotal role in reshaping
gender norms in various fields. Mdm. Rosita M. Tubice, Master Teacher II
and Mdm. Anna Lorraine T. Mamuyac are the two Juanas this year National
Women’s Month Celebration. JuanaSays also spotlight women who are at
the forefront of initiatives aimed at narrowing gender disparities in
finance. This includes their efforts in addressing poverty, providing
financial education and technology, advocating for social protection
systems, and improving access to public services and sustainable
infrastructure for women and girls.

San Jacinto National High School have female teachers and it


only resembles that empowered women were not only good at the four
corners of their homes but rather they can be good at inspiring others and
can make change for the betterment of the school and the community.
