In the bustling city of Paris, Remy, a rat with an exceptional sense of smell and taste, lives with his

colony in the countryside. Unlike other rats, Remy dreams of becoming a chef, inspired by his idol,
the famous French chef Auguste Gusteau.

Remy spends his time reading Gusteau's book, "Anyone Can Cook," and experiments with
ingredients he finds. Despite the warnings of his father, who distrusts humans, Remy is convinced
that his future lies in the kitchen.

One day, while searching for ingredients, the colony of rats is discovered by an old woman in
whose house they live. In the ensuing chaos, Remy becomes separated from his family and lost in
the sewers of Paris.

After floating through the underground waters, Remy emerges on the surface, right in the center
of Paris, very close to Gusteau's famous restaurant. Excited, he watches from afar the activity in
the kitchen.

Inside the restaurant, Linguini, a clumsy young man, begins working as a dishwasher. He
accidentally spills a soup and, in a desperate attempt to fix it, makes the situation worse.

Remy, unable to contain his passion for cooking, enters the kitchen and fixes the soup. Linguini
catches him, but notices that the soup is a hit with the customers.

Linguini, realizing Remy's skills, decides to stay close. Together they form an unexpected team:
Remy, hidden under Linguini's hat, controls his movements by pulling his hair, as if he were a
puppet.

With Remy's help, Linguini begins to excel in the kitchen, surprising everyone with his culinary
skills. However, no one knows that behind his success there is a rat.

Chef Skinner, the new and tyrannical head of the restaurant, suspects Linguini. Furthermore, he
discovers that Linguini is the true heir to Gusteau's restaurant, since his mother had a relationship
with the deceased chef.
Meanwhile, Remy is faced with a difficult choice: continue cooking and helping Linguini or return
to life with his rat family, who consider humans their enemies.

Remy chooses to stay in the kitchen, but his family shows up and drags him back to the colony.
However, Remy cannot give up his passion and sneaks back to the restaurant.

One day, Anton Ego, the most feared food critic in Paris, announces that he is going to visit the
restaurant to try out its dishes. The pressure mounts and Linguini, without Remy, cannot maintain
the level of excellence.

At the most critical moment, Remy is captured by Skinner. Fortunately, the rat colony, led by
Remy's father, rescues him and allows him to return to the restaurant.

With the help of his family, Remy organizes the kitchen to prepare a special meal for Anton Ego.
Linguini opens up to his team about Remy's role, and although they are hesitant at first, they
decide to trust the little rat.

Remy decides to cook "ratatouille", a simple but flavourful peasant dish. Upon tasting it, Ego is
impressed, as it reminds him of the dishes his mother made for him in his childhood.

The revelation that a rat has been cooking all this time shocks everyone, but Remy's talent is
undeniable. Anton Ego, after some reflection, writes a glowing review about the restaurant.

Despite the success, the restaurant is closed by the authorities due to the presence of rats.
However, Ego, who has regained his love for cooking, supports Remy and Linguini in opening a
new restaurant.

This new restaurant, called "La Ratatouille", is small but cosy. The customers don't know that
Remy is the chef, but the place becomes a success thanks to his exquisite recipes.

Remy finally achieves his dream of becoming a chef, albeit in a way he never imagined: cooking for
humans, with the support of his family and friends.
Remy's tale reminds us that no matter where we come from or who we are, we can always follow
our dreams. As Gusteau said, "Anyone can cook."
