1.Dr Noor ul Huda(PAS): Rigorous writing for 3 months become source of success.While writing,be
illustrative and creative .Don,t afraid to experiment with new techniques of answering.you have nothing
to lose but nly experience to gain.
Essay should be simple ,with a sprinkling of wit ,sane judgement and an element of validity with strong
backing by opinion_makers and analysts.
2.Mehak Fatima (PSP)6th position:key of written papers:focus more on analysis and less on ratta.mcq
deserve special prep.include as much references as possible.give an effective introduction with a unique
hook.
First understand question,start with quote and introduction with a hook.give e.g , comparisons ,charts
maps etc .try to include not so very common indeas and material in your answer.
Use of perfect punctuation marks is secret of my success in essay and precis and Composition bcz they
add to persuasiveness of your written expression.
3.Salman Yousaf (PAS)7th position: written Paper:I believe in 3 pronged strategy to ace written exam :
knowledge, analysis and presentation.cadidtaes should read relevant material along with analysis from
international newspapers.to substantial arguments,one can add quotes,facts figures etc .lasty good
presentation can always improve marks.
I prepare each Subject to that extent minimum I could not fail .second I focus on those subjects which
were my strengthes.key to score hight . analyze strenth and weakness yours.tips to write answe:
structure and organize into various headings.defien and to the point.well substantiallte with facts and
arguments.well presented.
Essay:I don't follow one specific structure but amalgamated various techniques instead.i started my
essay introduction with an anecdote,provided thesis at the end ,wrote 14_15 Paras each of 110_120
words.provided two case studies separately for substantiating my point of view,then conclude the essay
with a quote at the end .
For precis and Composition:one each part one time within one week .focus on building vocabulary.revise
2 months .not add additional material at that time to burdenize yourself.
4.Shahzaib Mushtaq 9th in 2021: opinion in making difference in writing answer.1.Conceptual clarity on
what you are writing 2.simple but effective communication _idea is to communicate the massage as
effectively as you can without too flowery .3.facilitate examiner with comprehensiv introduction and
positive conclusion.4.use communicative headings separate evidence,e.g.paragraphes and
flowcharts .5.always remember that answer sheet is to facilitate examiner to understand what you want
to say .
Each answe should be of 7_8 pages .but I see people with 4_5 pages and scoring high marks .so
first ,focus on correct interpretation,relevance, quality arguments and only after these ,one must see if
length should be increased.
Essay: practice, is your opinion,so creafully creat thesis statement then expand it and justify it.for
precis,spend 80%tiem on reading passage and 20 % on writing.islamayat and GSA are marks scoring so
focus more on them .

5.Asim Jasra (PSP):1.During papers days take 6_7 hours sleep per night.it will pay you off.early hours
revision is most productive.2.Try to take hot water .not chilled drinks or junk food.it will keep brain
healthy and active.3.be relax 20 minutes before sunset and 20 minutes after sunrise .
4.How to write a paragraph:first write introductory argument then supportive argument the 2_3
explanatory arguments then concluding argument.follow in each para .5.Solve past papers by 3_4 daily
by making bullet points (Personal suggestion:If in first phase you solve 3 papers part wise of each subject
and one full syllabus.No , asolve three part wise but with bullet points so that can solve maximum
questions and arrange them .mtlb 50 percent content write maximum.and 1 full length solve.)then
before one month solve whole papers for one month as exam.
6.while revising,cram definitions,quotes ,islamic reference,peotic verses,data etc .7.be ready to be

mentally uncomfortable.mean ready to attempt unexpected questions to train your mind for
exam.8.exercise 30_45 minutes daily during papers days.8.to overcome fear of failure,just be connected
to Allah and say ,I need to give Input .output is not in my hand .just focus on Input.
6.Sir Arsalan Zahid (CSP):1.in question,more than one aspects are asked so focus on each according to
question,not 80 % on commanding aspects and 20 % on others .it will make question imbalance.2.make
explanatory headings and maximum so that examiner not read to your detailed arguments .just judge
you from headings.
3.in each question,make one extra thing ,map ,flow chart ,table ,graph.but be care ful that should be
relevant.(Let's suppose.CPEC question,you make just Pakistan map .it's wrong.you should mention just
roots of cpec,it's developmental projects etc.
7.Ghazanfar Perdakh(10 th PAS):*We are what we repeatedly do . Excellence,is not an act but a
habit ."So for translating your thoughts into words ,write maximum.aading additional features .2.Read
latest research papers from IPRI,ISSI,Congressional Research Service CRS .rather than outdated material
of books.presentbcase studies to critically analyze an issue and provide viable solutions.
3.Don,t full your paper with irrelevant stuff .be relevant.make headings from words of questions.make
maximum explanatory subheadings.4.Esaay :1.intro:started with an anecdote and give thesis statement
at the end of para .in body ,presented arguments in favour of ,and refuting arguments presented in
opposition to ,my stance.
