Magic Lantern – is
considered as the classic projector, which uses a simple lamp and
translucent oil painting which projects larger image on the flat
surface.
Today’s Animation
Traditional Animation – was accomplish by using hand drawn sequence of images which
slightly different from one another the photocopied onto acetate sheet called cel.
Full Animation - is animation that is high quality and traditionally animated, regularly using
detailed drawings and plausible movement. In technical terms, full animations classified
as animation which
has key frames, or unique drawings, for at least every other frame of footage.
Example: Beauty and the Beast, Iron Giant, Aladdin, and Lion King.
1. Power Director – Cyber link Power Director is a magic video-editing for creating dynamic
movies, edit videos and slideshow automatically with stunning titles, effects and
transitions.
2. Movie Maker- Windows movie maker is a basic video creating/ editing software included
in MS windows. It contains features such as effects, transition, titles and credits, audio
track, timeline narration and auto movie. New effects and transitions can be made and
existing ones can be modified using XML mode.
3. Adobe Photoshop – Adobe is the benchmark for graphics and animation software. While
it’s main purpose is graphics making and photo-editing. Photoshop features animation
effects. 2D and 3D animator produces high quality images, titles, banner ads and buttons
for your web page or for a presentation.
4. Swish Max – is a program that utilizes adobe flash technology to create cross platform
compatible presentations. It is developed and distributed by swishone.com Pty Ltd.

Disadvantage of Multimedia
1. It is expensive to produce multimedia contents.
2. It is expensive to set up multimedia systems
3. It needs well trained manpower to create and use it.
4. Multimedia files, are too big/large so it is time consuming to transfer across the internet.
Adding Credits
1. Click any part of the storyboard
2. On the home tab, click add credits button.
3. You can select credits, director, starring and location
4. A blank frame with a text box will appear at the end of the storyboard
5. Type your text inside the text box.
6. Change the font, style, size if needed by going to the text tools format tab.
Adding Music
Music creates the mood of your movie. To add music to your movie, you must import it first in
your project. Add the music to the timeline on the audio/music tract and edit it to create the
effect that you want.
a. Click on the any part on the storyboard.
b. On the home tab, click add music button and the add music dialog box will appear.
c. Select the music file and it will be added to your movie.
