Filipinos are very determined and persevering in


accomplishing whatever they set their minds to.

Filipinos over the years have proven time and time


again that they are a people with an industrious

earn their daily meal.

Foreigners who come to visit the


Philippines speak of Filipinos going out of
their way to help them when lost, or the
heartwarming generosity of a Filipino
family hosting a visitor in their home. Hospitality
his famous trait is the ability of Filipinos
to find humor in everything, It sheds light
on the optimism and positivity of Filipinos
in whatever situation they are in so as to
remain determined in going through
struggles or challenges.

Filipinos place a high value on holistic


child education with a belief in parental
involvement in their children's
success. Filipinos believe in the
importance of multilingualism and
multiculturalism; in the Philippines, there
are over 120 distinct languages based in

tribes and ethnic groups.
Filipinos are naturally helpful and
generous people. They give as much as
they can and extend help to family
members — and even strangers — when
needed. This is seen through the
abundance of charity drives and
foundations in the country, especially

Filipino humanity is maybe best


exemplified in our compassion for others.
The kind of compassion that, not only
senses sympathy, but bothers the
morality to give help and get rid of the
suffering of others. Our compassion is
highly reflected in our personal capacity

to assist others and in our cooperative
spirit of volunteerism.when calamities
arise.
Filipinos are known to have strong family
ties. This is why it’s common to see
different generations or multiple families
living in a single residence.

The family is at the center of the Filipino


community. Children are not expected to
leave their parents’ house until they get
married. Even after then, many couples opt
to stay with or close to their or their
spouse’s parents.

Also, they’re expected to care for their


aging parents instead of sending them to a
retirement home.
