Background For Dynamo
Background For Dynamo
As the world progresses, the demands for new inventions and innovations
increased due to people’s desire to make their lives easier. In recent years Electricity
became played a pivotal role to many people’s lives. However, there are still countries
that has no access to Electricity. It was recorded that 15 countries---located in Africa---
do not have access to electricity. Where more than 80 percent of the population has no
access to Electricity. In South Sudan, less than five percent (5%) of the population have
access to electricity, this is followed by Burundi, Chad and Liberia, all with under ten
percent (10%). One of the known primary sources for energy are fossil fuels. Fossil
fuels is crucial in generating machines, electricity etc. However this magnificent
discovery could harm and severely damage our environment, including those who
inhibit the environment, like humans and animals. It causes air pollution due to its
emission of carbon dioxide, which leads to greenhouse effect. This greenhouse effect
could lead to global warming which is being experienced today. This also contributes to
pollution. Because of air pollution, clean and fresh air inhaled by humans was replaced
by polluted and unsafe air, causing respiratory disease or disorders. Safe to consume
water was also deeply affected, as burning fossil fuels could lead to water pollution. This
contaminates the water that humans and animals intake. Poor sanitation and unsafe or
contaminated water is another way for diseases such as; diarrhea, polio, and typhoid to
easily get transmitted.

People from around the world can easily access electricity from this
improvised weight driven rotation electric generator, due to its feasibility and
convenience. A lot of people do not have electricity because of monthly payment which
some could not afford to pay. Third world renewable energy source.
Government
Through this study, the government will less likely rely from the oil
products from foreign countries. This study can also help the government to give
livelihood and opportunities for many workers who are jobless and earns below the
minimum wage. The government will also be able to impose more programs for
recycling and recycling, while at the same time having economic growth and improving
the quality of people’s lives through cost-effective innovation.

Future Researchers
This study will guide aspiring researchers to develop and seek for more
renewable, feasible, cost-effective and environmentally safe alternative for electrical
source. It inspires young researchers to research for new innovative and useful studies.
This study will provide sources of information for them to expand the idea and make
improvements.
Due to multiple environmental and health issues from burning fossil fuels,
the demand for renewable and cost-effective alternate energy sources had increased.
However, generating electricity from renewable sources such as steam engines, wind
turbines and solar panels are not universally practical and costly. Furthermore, the
installation of solar panels, wind turbines, and geothermal energy source is not
necessarily feasible in all regions. This drove the population to demand for alternative
energy sources that are cost-effective, feasible, environmentally safe, no risk factors,
and functional. Electric generators are widely used nowadays due to its inability to
provide renewable energy. However, as the researchers keep on studying a type of
electric generator, it was discovered that the electric generator is unable to function
without rotating its rotor. Several ideas was made by other researchers to use resolve
this through making new model and development, but most of the proposed models still
cost a lot and requires human interventions or support. An Improvised weight-driven
rotating system for electric generators will be invented by the researchers, it will be
called “GreenSpin Dynamo”. This is a development to the electric generator which
enables it to rotate and generate electricity without being manually spun by humans.
This weight-driven rotating system cheaper and feasible. The mass of the weights
works with gravity to spin the wheel, rotating the rotor. Thus, enables the generator to
produce electricity. Another advantage of utilizing improvised materials and using the
GreenSpin Dynamo is it promotes recycling through using materials that are thrown
everywhere.
People back then lived without the tools and inventions of today.
Early humans relied on fire for the luxuries of light, heat, and cooking (Z.
Bahman and P. McDaniel, 2019). People's lives today are very different
compared to our ancestors. However, as the world progresses, many
inventions and innovations have been made and people have truly benefited.
The modern era is an example of modernization and the rise of a new
generation where it has made life "Easier" for many people, and it has
become an indication of a world that is constantly developing. The discovery
for electricity made a huge impact on people's lives and made a mark in
history .Many technologies have been discovered and utilized because of
electricity, including everyday appliances. However, many methods of
generating electricity have emerged. Many discoveries and researches have
been done to find for other forms of energy sources. Different types of
energy sources are also presented and are now used by many. There are
renewable energy sources such as hydroelectric, geothermal, and wind
powered generators. However, many places do not have access to this, and
these energy sources are not feasible, so one of the leading yet most
dangerous of all is burning of fossil fuels. Rural communities suffer from a
lack of electricity, forcing them to rely on coal and biofuels for cooking and
home heating, which causes health-damaging indoor air pollution. Regional
air pollution from acid rain and ozone is widespread (D. Streets, 2003). More
destructive activities have occurred in the desire of many to have electricity,
where---because of this--- our nature and the health of many people are at
risk. In The Invisible Rainbow, Firstenberg traces the history of electricity
from the early eighteenth century to the present, making a compelling case
that many of the environmental problems, as well as the major ills of
industrialized civilization-- heart disease, diabetes, and cancer--are linked to
electrical pollution (A. Firstenberg, 2020). Based from Edison Tech Center
"The generator/dynamo is made up of stationary magnets (stator) which
create a powerful magnetic field, and a rotating magnet (rotor) which
distorts and cuts through the magnetic lines of flux of the stator. When the
rotor cuts through lines of magnetic flux it makes electricity . Due to
Faraday's Law of Induction if you take a wire and move it back and forth in a
magnetic field, the field pushes on electrons in the metal. Copper has 27
electrons, the last two in the orbit are easily pushed on to the next atom.
This movement of electrons is electrical flow." The researchers aims to
create an improvised weight-driven rotating system for electric generators.
It will be called "GreenSpin Dynamo". This is a development to the electric
generator which enables it to rotate and generate electricity without being
manually spun by humans. This weight-driven rotating system cheaper and
feasible. The mass of the weights works with gravity to spin the wheel,
rotating the rotor. Thus, enables the generator to produce electricity.
Another advantage of utilizing improvised materials and using the GreenSpin
Dynamo is it promotes recycling through using materials that are thrown
everywhere.
