     Food is stored in the human body as Glycogen.

     Glycogen is stored in the Liver and muscles.


     During starvation, the body first uses Glycogen stores.
     Fats are stored in the human body in Adipose tissue.
     The sweetest sugar is Fructose.
     Sucrose is a Disaccharide.
     Lactose is found only in mammals.
     The sugar found in the hemolymph of insects is Trehalose.
     The sugar found in ATP is Ribose.
     Lactose is composed of Glucose and Galactose.
     Galactose is available in the human body by the hydrolysis of Milk.
     Blood group proteins in humans are composed of glycoproteins.
     For quick energy, one should use Carbohydrates.
     The formation of glucose from non-carbohydrate material is called
    Gluconeogenesis.
