    What is Fashion Design?
    Fashion design is a form of art dedicated to the creation of clothing and other
    lifestyle accessories. on how to make the products they design.
    Fashion design is the art of creating clothing and accessories. It involves conceptualizing ideas,
    sketching designs, and creating prototypes and patterns.
    Fashion designers often work in teams with other designers, pattern makers, and production staff to bring their ideas to life.

    Who is a Fashion Designer?
    A fashion designer is a person who studies fashion trends, sketches designs, picks fabrics and oversees the
    general production of clothing and accessories. Fashion designers sketch designs of clothing, footwear,
    and accessories. Fashion designers create original clothing, accessories, and footwear.
    They sketch designs, select fabrics and patterns, and give
    instructions on how to make the products they design.

    Someone who loves to study fashion trends, sketch designs,


    select materials, and have a part in all the production aspects of their designs.
    They create women’s, men’s and children’s apparel. They can also design accessories like belts,
    scarves, hats and handbags.

    Who Invented Fashion designing?
    The first fashion designer who was more than a simple seamster was Charles Frederick Worth,
    in the 19th century. Before he set up his fashion design house in Paris,
    clothing was made by anonymous dressmakers and fashion standards were derived from the styles worn by royalty.
    Worth was the first designer to actually dictate to his customers
    what to wear rather than following their demands.
    His fashion house became so famous that people were able to attach a face
    and a name to designs when they knew they were from the House of Worth.
    This was the beginning of the tradition to have a designer of a house not
    only create clothing, but also represent the symbol of the brand.
