    Imagine you have visited various tourist attractions and witnessed different
    landscapes of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Paint a poster on an A4 size sheet
    depicting the hidden gems in its natural beauty.
    Give a befitting heading and a tag line to your poster to invite other tourists to
    explore the unexplored attractions so far. Present your poster in class and share
    your experiences in about 2 -3 minutes.

    MATHEMATICS
    On an A3 size sheet, create a detailed map of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
    on a Cartesian plane, using the x-axis to represent longitude (East-West) and the
    y-axis for latitude (North-South). Mark the key features such as major islands,
    ports, lighthouses, and national parks, assigning appropriate coordinates to each.
    Additionally, design a treasure hunt by incorporating clues using Cartesian
    coordinates, and bring the island’s geography to life through creative use of
    colours or shading techniques.

    SCIENCE
    ‘A slew of infrastructure projects have been proposed in the Andaman and
    Nicobar Islands to give a major boost to tourism and business there, according to
    information released by the central government. While these will transform the
    islands substantially, experts are worried that this would cause loss of
    biodiversity and have a negative impact on the indigenous people in the
    ecologically sensitive islands’.
