MATERIALS

(3/0) 2.3 mm crochet hook.

6mm black beads or toy safety eyes.
Needle for sewing.
Toy stuffing (fiberfill).
Stitch marker.
Wire 2mm (for shaping)
Scissors.
Sport yarn 50gr/2oz (125m/137yd)
(You can use any yarn you prefer, but make sure to adjust the crochet hook size to
match your chosen yarn)

PATTERN NOTES

- Instructions are written in rounds & row, using US terminology.

- Make invisible decrease stitches and invisible fasten off to have a better result.

- Add toy stuffing according to instruction of each part and stuff it as tightly as possible.

- Stitches should be close together so that the stuffing does not come out through gaps
in the stitches when the toy is stuffed.

- Mark the first stitch of the round to keep track of where the round begins.

- Changing color and joining yarn: Work in the previous color (or yarn) until two loops of
the last stitch remain on the hook. Use the new color (or yarn) to complete the stitch.
Continue working with the new color (or yarn) as before. Finally, knot both yarns
together to secure the stitch.

- There are 2 ways to make a single crochet: "X" stitch & "V" stitch.

"X" single crochet method ( I use this stitch in

the pattern): Insert the hook into a stitch,
yarn under, pull through, yarn over, pull
through both loops.

"X" single crochet

"V" single crochet method: Insert the hook

into a stitch, yarn over, pull through, yarn
over, pull through both loops.

Using the chopstick or your crochet hook

handle, pull the part from R25 to R32 back
inside the head. (Pic.2-3-4)

The yarn tail that put in R14 will be the center of the face. (Pic.5)
Insert the 6mm safety eyes between R13 and R14, 7 stitches apart. (Pic.6-7)
Embroider the nose and the cheeks with orange thread. (Pic.8)
Embroider the eyebrows with brown thread. (Pic.9)
Use powder blush for the cheeks.

Make 2, start in cream yarn.

Do not stuff the arms. Fasten off (using
invisible fasten off).

SLEEVES
Make 2, start in green yarn.
Ch 15. Slst on the opposite side of the start of the row (Pic.10). From here work in round.
R1 - 2: ch 1, 15sc, slst [15]
R3: ch 1, (3sc, dec) x 3, slst [12]
R4 - 5: ch 1, 12sc, slst [12]

Use pin to place the hair on the right place before you glue (or sew) it.
Place S8 and S10 on both side of the head. (Pic.38-39)
Place the side bangs in front of the ear. (Pic.42)
Place S1 to S6, S9 to S14 behind the head.
Apply fabric glue (or sew) to secure the hair strands and the bow.
