    TILE ADHESIVE

    Modified cement based tile adhesive

    Product Description
    TILE ADHESIVE is a ready-mixed polymer modified cement based multi-purpose
    adhesive. It provides outstanding bonding to various ceramic tiles over cementitious
    surfaces like plaster, concrete, etc. TILE ADHESIVE is non-shrink, self-curing, and has
    brilliant binder properties. Classified as C1T according to EN 12004 2012,A+1: 2012
    and Type 1T according to IS 15477:2019.

    Application Method

    Surface Preparation
    Prior to application, make sure the substrate is cement laitance-free, clean, and
    free from dirt, oil, grease, or other contaminants and loose or friable particles
    that may affect the adhesion strength.

    Packs
    All surfaces must be dimensionally stable, level, cured, undamaged, compact,
    rigid, and dry. Dampening shall be done with water over dry and dusty surfaces.
    For more absorbent surfaces, apply a coat of HS Latex shield 2K.

    The substrate must be perfectly flat, sound, free from parts that are easily removed,
    20 Kg 30 Kg non-deformable and correctly aged.
    Areas of weak or honey-combed base surfaces should be sufficiently made flat to permit the
    specified thickness. During application, there should not be any standing water.

    Mixing HS Tile Adhesive is mixed thoroughly with clean water (always pour water into
    powder and not the reverse) until a lump-free, homogenous mix is obtained (at
    Coverage For 3mm least 3 minutes of mixing is necessary).
    A 20-kg bag of powder requires 4.6–5.6 liters of water. The adhesive is
    50-55 sqft (with 6mm x 6mm notch) immediately ready for use.

    No further water should be added.

    Application
    • To obtain a 3mm thickness, use a 6mm x 6mm notch trowel. The amount of product
    should be enough to ensure complete wetting of the tile. Tiling has to be carried out on
    fresh adhesive.
