NIDEC TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD., Dongguan, China – specialty in precision vibration motor assembly for
mobile phones application using state of the art automation process and facility. Key components supplier
of Apple iPhone series products.
Senior Technical Manufacturing Manager, February 2018 to present
Lead and supervise engineering and production staffs (managers, supervisors, engineers and technicians)
to establish process excellence, quality control and production efficiency in manufacturing assembly.
Provide direction and strategy for 5 key performance indicators (Yield, Tossing rate, Down-
time rate, Cycle Time and UPH). Key technical leader for new project and quality control by
providing key deliverables on time and FACA (failure analysis and corrective action) to Apple
Team (on-site and HQ Cupertino). Manage the budget allocation and disbursement of both New
and MP projects.

Key Achievements:
 Technical Leader of iPhone 15 precision vibration motors from NPI to mass production with shipment
volume of 25M units from July 2023 to Mar 2024. Equivalent to USD 112M sales revenue.
 Spearhead the manual operation reduction by 20% using automation technology and integration
to production assembly lines. Line efficiency also improves by 10%.
 Yield improvement at back-end process through Electrical Test and Cosmetic defect reduction by
introducing auto- process procedure, precise data analysis and eliminating non-value added process.
Back-end process improved from 97% to 99.8%
 Lead a team to work with Apple technical and supplier quality engineering groups for iPhone 16 series

implementing effective corrective actions that led to production/operation yield gain ranging from
5% to 7% improvements.
 Developed a better wafer dicing and slicing in-line process quality control with AMKOR
(semiconductor manufacturing) process engineering team with the aid of newly formulated coolants to
minimized device edge chips (from 2% to <0.5% and eliminate cross-contamination issues.

(magnetic disk-drive assembly) reliability engineering team to eliminate talc contamination. Achieved

 Spearhead the successful launching of a new product (2.5 HDD model) from China to Philippines that

added parameters through effective collaboration study and approval from customer’s product

China to Philippines.
