Without training, they lacked knowledge.

Without knowledge, they lacked
confidence.
Without confidence, they lacked victory

Combat training is meant to teach soldiers how to fight not meant for a way to
fill in a event. Combat training is more than that. Combat training is meant to
teach discipline and field IQ.

This being said that any gladiator can attend these training so they can
improve.

Combat training will either be held on Province to teach Province tech or on

Roman Battlegrounds to teach each other tech. These events can be no longer
than 15-25 Mins NO LONGER.

The main points you should be teaching is:

-How to angle
-Flybys
-Practice 2v1’s
-1v1 practice
-Field IQ (VERY BIG ONE)

When you are in training, always listen to the instructor.

”Why?” You may ask. This is because you could learn better combat
or a better Field IQ.
Military Doctrine
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.
Damage over kills, Working as a team is very important because damage are ultimately the way to
win, you must understand that you should not overextend yourself to get a kill also trust your
teammates will be able to get the kill. damage is ultimately the way to win.
2.
Cuts over kills. In situations when chasing an enemy, going directly for the kill may at times be
pointless as they will not slow down. Focus on cutting down and trapping the enemy.
3.
Survival.
trading deaths is not acceptable. Otherwise every battle would end with 0 alive on each side. If
you are not able to get a kill then try to pull back. Pulling back is okay so if you are low and try at a
different scenario. Trading yourself even if you are at an advantage it is a terrible idea. Always focus
on survival first instead of kills.
4.
Spacing.
Spacing is key in battle. Spacing gives you the illusion of numbers and it also gives room to envelop
the enemy inside the formation around the flank. Spacing also allows you to avoid TK and have
easy escape routes for when you are low.
5.
Flanks of the Formation.
Flanks on both sides are heavily important. They your control your spacing and they deal can deal
heavy blows to the enemy if they are successfully enveloped. This is why most modern battle
doctrines have elite fighters on one or two flanks of a formation.
