Intelligent agents in AI are autonomous creatures that interact with their environment
using sensors and actuators to achieve their goals. Intelligent agents may also pick
up information from their surroundings to achieve those goals. Siri, a virtual personal
assistant, and autonomous vehicles are examples of artificial intelligence (AI)
intelligent agents.
These are the primary four guidelines that any AI agents must follow −
Rule 1 − An AI agent needs to have the ability to comprehend its surroundings.
Rule 2 − Decisions must be based on environmental observations.
Rule 3 − Decisions must be followed by action.
Rule 4 − The AI agent's action must be a sensible one. Actions that maximize
performance and produce the greatest possible outcome are considered rational.
