MySQL Installation
Major Steps
• Download MySQL and MySQL Work Bench from One Drive
• Installation for Windows Machine
• Installation of MySQL server

Installation of MySQL for Windows
Machine
Download MySQL Package from One Drive
• Click on the Given Link : MySQL Download Package
• Login into One Drive with your Soil Email address
• You are allowed to Copy the software package for MySQL Software. (please
download the package file as per your operating system.)
• Once you download the package from OneDrive to local drive.
Installation of MySQL package
• Software package downloaded in local drive
• Open the downloaded file.
• Click Run Button.

• Once the Installation Prepared
• Once Click Next.

• Accept the Term and Condition and click on the Next button

• You can then choose which installation type you would like. Preferred Complete
setup for Installation

• Click on the Install button

• Once the installation cycle begins, it will take 2 to 5 minutes to complete.

• Click Finish Button.

• Click Next Button.

• Select the Directory Path where you want to store
the MySQL server and data Directory.
• Once you select the Path please click on the Next
button.

• Enter the MySQL Password (Password Minimum
length 4 character)
• Click on next Button

• Grant Full Access to the user running the
windows service for the file Permissions (Select
the 1st Option)
• Click on the Next button

• Click on the check box for the sample
Database for MySQL.
• Once you select the Sample Database
click on the Next button

• Software package downloaded in local drive
• Open the downloaded file.
• System Preparing the installer

on the Next Button

installation file and Database file.
• Once the Folder Path selected click
on the Next Button

• Choose the Setup type (Preferable to
select the Complete setup Type) and click
on the Next button

Finish button Workbench
will open

• Click on the MySQL Connection “Local instance MySQL 9.0” server instance and enter the set password to
access the MySQL server.
