What is ESA?
The ESA stands for the European
Space Agency.
It is an intergovernmental
organization dedicated to the
exploration of space. The ESA
conducts space research, launches
satellites, explores other planets
and celestial bodies, and
collaborates with other space
agencies worldwide. Its member
states work together to advance
space science and technology for
peaceful purposes.
What is ESERO?
ESERO stands for "European Space
Education Resource Office." It is a
network of European space agencies
that promote space science and
technology education within European
educational systems. They provide
resources, educational materials, and
training programs for teachers and
students, aiming to foster interest and
understanding of space and its
applications.
Overview of CanSat

The CanSat project is an educational and technological initiative where teams

design, build, and launch small-scale satellite simulations, typically the size of a
soda can. These devices, equipped with sensors and communication systems,
perform various missions like collecting atmospheric data or conducting scientific
experiments. The project aims to promote STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Mathematics) education among high school and university
students worldwide.
Process of CanSat

Participants work in teams to construct a CanSat capable of fulfilling

predetermined missions. Once built, the CanSat is launched using rockets or high-
altitude balloons. During flight, it collects data and performs assigned tasks. Post-
flight, the data is analyzed to evaluate mission success and improve CanSat
designs for future iterations. The project encourages hands-on learning,
teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Rocket Team mission
In the secondary mission we are going to use an infrared camera to
detect the radiation emitted by the Earth and interpret this data to
determine the state of the Earth's surface. In this way we can carry
out our objective. This is to sell this data to farmers. The idea
occurred to us because we are located in an agricultural area such as
the lagoon.
