Amigurumi baby giraffe free pattern

Meet a sweet amigurumi baby giraffe! Follow this free amigurumi


pattern to create the baby giraffe using YarnArty Jeans yarn. The
pattern is perfect for beginners and the finished toy makes a gorgeous
gift for kids. The size of finished crochet giraffe is about 18 cm (7″) tall.

Tail
With cream yarn:
Make 8 ch.
R 1: From the 2nd ch from hook: 7 sl st
F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.
With beige yarn:
Cut the yarn into 4 pieces, each piece is 10 cm (3.9″).
Make it as a fringe: fold over yarn piece and use your hook to pull the
loop through the last stitch on the tail. Pull the yarn ends through the
loop to make a knot. Cut the yarn ends approximately ½-1 cm long.

Assembly
Sew the muzzle to the head starting between R 15 and R 16. Add a
small amount of stuffing just before closing.
Make eye tightening.
Embroider eye whites with white embroidery floss or thin yarn.
Embroider nostrils, eyebrows and lashes with black embroidery floss.
Sew the horns on the head between R 4 and R 6, fold the ears and
sew them in R 8.
Sew the head to the body.
Sew the tail and legs to the body between R 9 and R 10, arms –
between R 21 and R 22.
Sew the spots to the head and body as shown in the pictures.
