JOB ACCOUNTABILITY:
Leading an engineering team in a global provider of drilling rigs, advanced drilling equipment packages,
and the related capital equipment necessary to drill oil and gas wells, you will drive the department to ever
increasing standards of performance to provide NOV's clients with technically compliant, commercially
responsible, and professional solutions. You will be able to employ your considerable technical, leadership
and professional experience to ensure your team perform to schedule and budget. You will also be
responsible for all the aspects of your team’s development including recruitment, and training. Ultimately
you will define and drive your team’s continual improvement to enhance their performance and capabilities
in line with the broader company initiatives. You will carry out engineering tasks as required, provide
leadership for the successful day-to-day operation and will harness a working environment which
encourages team work, accountability and an engaged workforce.

Technical Competencies Knowledge of offshore design standards is beneficial but not essential
Experience with design and engineering of Ex (hazardous area) equipment is
desirable.
Experience from using AutoCAD design tool will be an advantage
Knowledge and experience in Siemens Teamcentre (Desirable)
Having a professional letter/certification in electrical, automation, etc. is an
advantage
Knowledge and experience with Explosion Proof equipment preferred
(Desirable)
Generally good IT knowledge and experience from using relevant software
HSE General Ensure proper housekeeping is implemented in your work area and
maintained;
Report all work related incidents within 24hrs to the HSE department
for action
Adhere and comply with all safety signage and PPE requirements;
Implement SWA (Stop Work Authority) where required and report any unsafe
acts or omissions immediately to your supervisor to assist in reducing and
eliminating any existing health, safety or environmental risks or hazards;
Adhere to all approved HSE policies and work procedures under KP8;
Quality Assurance Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company’s quality assurance policies,
procedures and work instructions
