BALCO Smelter modernization project with Kaiser Aluminum, Mead, US where I participated
in 3 months factory audit. I was instrumental in data collection on daily basis, issuing graphs and
charts, establishing Data base for audit figures (Energy consumption of 16.5MWhr / ton, carbon
paste consumption, moisture content etc). I also carried non-linear regression analysis when we
had temporary power outage, for aluminum production as per ISO rules & regulations. The audit
was concluded successfully in March 1995 and the project was declared a success.
