    The Second Exam Of English


    Text:
    Cherchell is a nice town in the north of Algeria ‚120km west of
    Algiers .It is situated in a mountainous region with a thick forest not far
    from the centre of the town opposite the Mediterranean. There are
    about 30.000 inhabitants. Cherchell is one of the oldest towns in Algeria
    .
    A long time ago, the Romans came to Algeria and settled for years.
    They built "Cesaree". Today , it is called Cherchel .
    There are still traces of the Romans . The main attraction is visiting
    the ruins and the museums which contain fabulous collections, prints ,
    old drawings, potteries….
    One of the most important activities of this town is handicraft. People
    practice basketball everywhere in the town. If you visit Cherchel , you
    will like it.
