Job Title: China Sourcing Specialist

talented and proactive China Sourcing Specialist to our team to enhance our global supply chain
operations.

Position Overview:

As a China Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in sourcing products from China to support
Mekr Technologies' diverse needs. You will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers,
negotiating contracts, ensuring product quality, and managing relationships to achieve cost-effective
and timely procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Identification & Evaluation: Research and identify potential suppliers in China through
various channels including trade shows, online directories, and industry contacts. Assess supplier
capabilities, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.

Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to
secure the best deals. Draft, review, and finalize contracts to ensure compliance with company
policies and legal requirements.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that products meet Mekr Technologies’
quality specifications. Implement quality control measures and address any issues or deviations from
agreed standards.

Supply Chain Management: Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and
adherence to inventory requirements. Coordinate with internal teams to align sourcing activities with
production schedules and business objectives.
Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, trade regulations, and industry developments that
could impact sourcing decisions. Provide recommendations based on comprehensive market
analysis.

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and
stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for any supplier-related issues or inquiries.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sourcing activities, including supplier
communications and contract details. Prepare and present reports on sourcing performance, cost
savings, and other key metrics.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication


Engineering, Computer Science Engineering) or a related field. Internships or project experience
related to sourcing or procurement are beneficial.

Experience: No prior work experience required. Internship experience in sourcing, procurement, or


supply chain management is a plus.

Skills:

Strong negotiation skills and contract management capabilities.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.

Familiarity with sourcing software and tools is advantageous.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with Chinese business practices and cultural norms is an asset but
not mandatory.
