(Parliament) received the assent of the President on 4th November, 2024 and is’
hereby published for general information:—

Surther to amend the Pakistan Air Force Act, 1953
WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Pakistan Air Force Act,
1953 (VI of 1953), in the manner and for the purposes hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted as follows:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) This Act shal] be called the
Pakistan Air Force (Amendment) Act, 2024,
(2) _ It shall come into force at once and shall always be deemed to have
been part of the Pakistan Air Force Act, 1953 (VI of 1953).

2, Amendment of section 10A, Act VI of 1953.— In the said Act, in
section 10A, iti sub-section (1), for the expression “three (03)” the expression
“five (05)” shall substituted.
3. Amendment of section 10B, Act VI of 1953.— In the said Act, in
section 10B, in sub-section (1),—
(i) for the expression “three (03)", occurring twice, the
expression “five (05)” shall be substituted; and
i) after the expression “, or”, the expression “, and/or” shall be
substituted.
4. Amendment of section 10C, Act VI of 1953.— In the said Act, for
section 10C, the following shall be substituted, namely:—
“10C. Retirement age and service limits of the Chief of the
Air Staff—The retirement age and service limits prescribed for an
Air Chief Marshal, under the Rules and Regulations made under
this Act, shall not be applicable to the Chief of the Air Staff, during
his tenure of appointment, re-appointment and/ or extension.
Throughout such tenure, the Chief of the Air Staff shall continue to
serve as an Air Chief Marshal in the Pakistan Air Force.”.
