The Arts and Letters Student Council (ABSC) is the highest student administrative body in the Faculty of Arts and Letters. The ABSC believes that one of the most important aspects of a successful organization is having an accountable, efficient and transparent treasury. It will not only lead to healthier financial resources but also to more organized and effective projects. In this light, the ABSC will hold the CLEAR CUT II: Efficient, Accountable and Transparent Leadership The 2011 Council of Treasurers and Auditors Summit, on November 18, 2011 from 7:00am-3:00pm at the Tan Yan Kee AVR. Respected personalities wi9th expertise on treasury and auditing will give a talk about the important things every treasurer and auditor should know. We believe that this will not only orient them about their basic personalities but also help them innovative ways in making their term more productive. We hope to hear your most favorable response. II. Project Proponent: The Arts and Letters Student Council. III. Project Objectives: To be able to inform the students of new significant realities about Filipino and the language per se. To be able to To be able to encourage the students to appreciate the To be able to contribute to the month-long celebration of our language (Bu V. Project Description The week-long celebration entitled the AB Linggo ng Wika with a theme of Ang Filipino ay Wikang Panlahat: Ilaw at Lakas ng Tuwid na Landas" The said event will have different programs in relation for the countrys celebration of the Buwan ng Wika. On its first day, August 1, 2011 the first program will be the Dagliang Talumpatian. It is a battle of on the spot extemporaneous speech with costume between students. The next program will be the Patimpalak sa Pagsulat ng Sanaysay on August 2, 2011 that will be held in a room reservation at the Faculty of Arts and Letters. Third day of the said event, August 3, 2011 will be Pinilakang Tabing a free admission of the four movies we chose to show. On the 4 th day of August 2011 scheduled program will be Tagisan ng Talino, it is a competition of knowledge about Filipino facts and history between the different majors in the Faculty of Arts and Letters. VI. Project Duration: December 2011 VII. Target Beneficiaries: This project is directly for the benefit of the students.
