1.Constructivist
Approach
is an approach of teaching where in
learners construct new understanding
using what they already know and
prior knowledge.
the teacher becomes the facilitator.
learners need to build their own
understanding of material.
learning is active not passive.
2. Collaborative
Approach
Collaborative learning is an
educational approach to teaching
and learning that involves groups of
learners working together to solve a
problem, complete task, or create a
product. ( Laal and Laal, 2012)

Examples:
1. Group Projects
2. Debate Teams
3. Jigsaw Activities
4. Role-Playing and Simulations
5. Peer Teaching
3. Reflective Approach
is an approach to instruction where
teachers self -analyze their teaching
methods, strategies, and results. An
instructor using reflective teaching will
think about his/her own teaching
practices & scrutinize how something is
taught as a method of self-improvement
and to improve learning outcomes for the
students.

is a process of systematically examining

your own thoughts, feelings, and actions
to gain deeper understanding yourself
and your experiences.
4. Inquiry Based
Approach
is a teaching approach that
empasizes student’s questions,
ideas, and observations. Students
are guided to discover knowledge
through inquiry, reasearch and
problem solving.
Four types of Inquiry
Based Approach
1. Structured Inquiry Approach- is a student centered
method where learners are encouraged to ask
questions, investigate and explore topics to find
answers.
2. Open-Ended Inquiry Approach- is a more free form
approach to inquiry based learning. In this type of
learning environment, students are given freedom
to explore their interest and ask questions about
the topic they have choose.
3. Problem Based Inquiry Approach- In this type of
approach, students are given a real world problem
to solve.
4. Guided Inquiry Approach- In this type of approach,
teacher guides students through the inquiry process
and helps them to ask questions and find solutions
to real world problems.
5. Integrative Approach
is a teaching approach that blends
concepts, skills, and knowledge from
multiple subject areas to provide a
more holistic and interconnected
learning experiences rather than
teaching the subject in isolation.
Types of Integrative
Approach
1. Thematic Integration- Lessons are
organized around a central theme that
spans multiple subjects.
2. Project-Based Integration- Is when
students work big projects that combine
knowledge from different subjects.
3. Curriculum Integration- Design a
curriculum where subjects are
intentionally connected and the learning
process emphasizes the relationships
between different areas of knowledge.
6. Flipped Classroom
Approach
is structured around the idea that
lecture or direct instruction is not the
best use of class time. Instead students
encounter information before class,
freeing class time for activities that
involve higher order thinking.

The concept took off as technological

changes made it easier to access and
create educational material.
