Troubleshooting by diagnostic code


Multi-function indicator on the lower control box indicates diagnostic code on its display and the
system failure light on the upper control box goes on or blinks to indicates error conditions when error
occurs.

Troubleshooting by monitoring
Multi-function indicator displays input / output status of the Main CPU board M6, Sub CPU board and
Invertor unit while it is in the Adjustment mode.

1. Starting Adjustment mode


1) Turn off the Key switch.
2) Pull open the right side battery box.
3) Find the connector “9” (Gray, 2 poles) and “58” (Yellow, 2 poles). (Fig 5-2)

4) Disconnect these connectors.
5) Connect “9A” (Male of Gray connector) and “58B” (Female of Yellow connector).
