    Respected Ma’am, Devine Grace Basalo- Estrella,

    I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Mary Claire L. Pacquiao, I am first year student at Serapion
    C. Basalo Memorial Colleges, pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English. I am
    writing this letter to express my keen interest in applying for a scholarship offered at your esteemed
    institution.

    I have been a brilliant student throughout my academic life. I have always been an honor of my class
    and participated in various extra- curricular activities such as playing chess, volleyball, sudoku etc.
    during Intramurals. I have completed my K-12 at Ihan National High School with distinction. I always
    wanted to continue my college journey in this institution and grow in the field of teaching with the help
    of this scholarship, with this I will be able to finish my studies and fulfill my dream.

    I admire the school’s innovative literacy programs and its emphasis on creating a supportive
    community that encourages students’ intellectual and emotional growth. I am eager to contribute my
    passion for English literature and effective learner here at SCBMFC. I may be in despair to say this, but
    I need a scholarship to finish my studies for the reason that my family had a financial problem that
    may lead me not to continue my study in college and I would do anything to finish my studies so as to
    make myself successful and to help my siblings and parents. I am confident that, given the
    opportunity, I would contribute positively to your school community and uphold its values of
    excellence.

    I hope your kind heart will be kindled with my story, thank you so much for considering my application.
    I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to join your scholalrship program and more blessings to come.
