    Dear Sir,
    Request for Leave of Absence Due to Family Emergency
    I am writing to inform you that I am unable to attend the upcoming GRASAG Senate
    Parliament meeting scheduled for 7th June, 2024.
    Unfortunately, I have experienced a sudden family emergency. My father has suffered a
    severe snake bite, which has resulted in a critical medical condition. As a result, I have had to
    travel home urgently to be with him and provide the necessary support during this challenging
    time.
    Given the severity of the situation and the need for my immediate presence, I regret that I will
    be unable to fulfill my obligations and attend the meeting as planned. I understand the
    importance of my role and the impact of my absence, and I sincerely apologize for any
    inconvenience this may cause.
    I kindly request your understanding and approval for my leave of absence from the meeting. I
    assure you that I will catch up on any missed discussions and responsibilities upon my return.
    I am also available to provide any necessary information or assistance remotely to ensure the
    smooth continuation of Senate activities.
    Thank you for your consideration and understanding in this matter. I look forward to rejoining
    my colleagues at the earliest opportunity once this situation has stabilized.
