Further, tentative date for commencement of the Spot Evaluation is 29-Mar-23 Thus, you are requested to
please contact your CNS & HE before the scheduled date accordingly for evaluation of answer books.
You will work under the Supervision and Control of H.E. & Chief Nodal Supervisor and the time of
Evaluation will be decided by him / her. Please bring with you a red ink ball pen for corrections.
On the basis of the past experience it has been observed that the teachers are normally
sending their acceptance but when the actual Evaluation work commences, they do not report
for duty which jeopardizes the schedule of Evaluation Work. It may be noted that as per
provisions of affiliation / examination bye - laws of the Board, the assignment offered by the
Board in regard with conduct of examination, evaluation etc. are mandatory / obligatory on the
part of each affiliated institutions and their teachers.

Hence non reporting for evaluation duties as assigned by the Board may lead to strict action as
deemed fit.

FURTHER, AS PER PAST EXPERIENCE IT HAS BEEN OBSERVED THAT


QUALITY OF EVALUATION DONE AT SOME OF THE SPOT EVALUATION CENTRES
WAS NOT FOUND SATISFACTORY AND ALSO NOT UPTO THE DESIRED LEVEL, A
LARGE NUMBER OF MISTAKE CASES W ERE DETECTED DURING THE COURSE OF
SCRUTINY ON ACCOUNT OF EVALUATION OF PREVIOUS EXAMINATION. NON
PERFORMING THE DUTIES PROPERLY RAISED QUESTIONS ON THE
CREDIBILIT Y ON W ORKING OF EXAMINERS W HO PARTICIPATED IN THE
EVALUATION WORK, AS YOU ARE AWARE THAT THE STUDENTS LOOK AT
THESE EVALUATION AS A FINAL EVALUATION OF THEIR ACADEMIC
PERFORMANCE. ALSO FROM EXAM 2012 THE STUDENTS / EXAMINEES CAN TAKE
PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR ANSWER SHEETS UNDER RTI ACT 2005 AS PER ORDERS
OF THE HON'BLE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA. THEREFORE, IT IS REQUESTED
THAT PROPER ATTENTION TOWARDS EVALUATION SHOULD BE GIVEN AND
ANSWER BOOKS OF THE SUBJECT BE EVALUATED IN PERFECT MANNER STRICTLY
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MARKING SCHEME.

APART FROM ABOVE, THE EXAMINERS EVALUATING THE ANSWER BOOKS


OF THE MEDIUM OTHER THAN THE ONE THEY ARE TEACHING IN, MAY HAVE SOME
DIFFICULTY IN UNDERSTANDING THE ANSWER WHICH MAY LEAD TO WRONG
AWARD OF MARKS. THEREFORE, FOR DOING FULL JUSTICE TO THE
STUDENTS, EXAMINERS MAY ENSURE EVALUATION OF THE ANSWER BOOK WITH
THE SAME MEDIUM IN WHICH THEY ARE TEACHING.

It may be noted that each examiner should devote 7-8 hours daily for evaluation of 25
answer books and ensure that all the answer books evaluated strictly in accordance With the
marking scheme provided by the Board and question paper set used by the examinee.
While evaluating the answer books, the examiner concerned must ensure that where
multiple sets of question papers are in the subject i.e. 3 sets of question papers, only one
set's answer book have to be taken for evaluation as far as possible.

It will be the responsibility of the examiner to verify and ascertain that the answer books in
hand does not belong to any of the other set other than the one which he / she has been allotted for
evaluation.

However, in case of the multiple sets of question paper's answer books the examiner
should have the knowledge of the other sets also which is not difficult being the part of the
same syllabus and the academic subject. Thus, the evaluation be done accordingly.

The Remuneration, Conveyance & Refreshment charges will be paid to you and sub-
examiners as per Spot Evaluation Guideline-2023 issues by the Board. The payment to all
functionaries shall be made through IPS portal. Hence, you are requested to provide the
personal details like Bank A/C, Bank Name, IFSC Code etc to the respective HE for settlement
of the bills.

Your acceptance as Examiner may please be sent to the concerned Head Examiner
immediately on receipt of this letter. You are also required to produce a relieving
certificate at the time joining / relieving issued accordingly.

Hope, you would pay proper attention towards most important work of whole examination
system and ensure error free evaluation as per norms / guidelines of the Board in the
larger academic interest of the students.

ANY OF THE PENALTIES IN CLAUSE 12.1.1 TO 12.1.9 FOR NOT NOMINATING AND RELIEVING
TEACHERS FOR EVALUATION OF ANSWER SCRIPTS OF THE BOARDS EXAMINATION AND
OTHER ANCILLARY ACTIVITIES AS PER REQUIREMENTS OF THE BOARD.
