Introduce yourself?

My name is Kevin, I’m 22 years old and I recently graduated from

Tarumanagara University, majoring in Accounting with GPA of 3.97. While
there, I learned a lot of theory in subjects like Financial Accounting, Auditing,
Taxation, and more. I also have the experience as assistant lecturer for 2.5
years urrently, I’m working as a private tutor in accounting subject. I’ve
worked hard in my education and now I’m ready to apply my knowledge into
practice. I’m looking to leverage everything I’ve learned in uni and get some
hands-on work experience.
Why Are You Interested in This Position?
“As a recent graduate, I am eager to kick-start my career. I chose to apply
for this job because I believe the role will act as a perfect transition from
student to professional. This is due to the extensive training and guidance
provided within the potential role. Which was a point that really stood out to
me. What I am lacking in experience I believe I excel in motivation
and determination to perform well in this potential new role.”
Tell us why you think that you are well suited to work for us?
As a recent college graduate, I have all the skills and commitment to work
for KPMG. After working as an assistant lecturer for 2.5 years, I learnt how to
multitask and prioritize responsibilities. I am confident that I can make
immediate effect for KPMG. Being a fresher, I think I am very flexible and
adaptive to learning new things.
Tell us about other aspects of any non work interests?
I'm interested in playing strategic games. Strategic games like chess and
wargames are my favorites because it requires a unique form of strategic
thinking to master an understanding of its dynamics. It also teaches me a lot
of ways to view or approach the world and to be better able creatively or
strategically solve its problems. The playing of the game, and mastery of it,
teaches you a new way to view or approach the world and to be better able
strategically/creatively solve its problems. That is why I love strategic games.
Tell us about any additional skills?
I have good communication skills. I believe that communication skills is
important and crucial for my professional success. Having good
communication skills really helps me to create a nice teamwork at my
previous role as an assistant lecturer. I enjoy working with others to make
positive impacts in a organization.

What are your strengths?

I work pretty well under pressure. When I was studying at Tarumanagara
University, I’ve had several situations where I had to come up with a solution
to some problem or another with a very limited time frame. Responsibility is
also my strength. I consider my job the first priority, and it has never
happened to me that I came late to work, or that I did not finalize my tasks in
time. I’m also able to pick things up very quickly, I am a fast learner and very
keen to acquire new skills. This has meant that I have always been very
willing to take on extra responsibilities as I see it as an opportunity to learn
more.

What are your weaknesses?

One of my greatest weakness is that I sometimes have a hard time letting go
of a project. I’m the biggest critic of my own work. I can always find
something that needs to be improved or changed. To help myself improve in
this area, I give myself deadlines for revisions. This helps ensure that I’m not
making changes at the last minute. The other weakness I have is that I
sometimes focus too much on the details of a project and spend too much
time analyzing the finer points. I’ve been striving to improve in this area by
checking in with myself at regular intervals and giving myself a chance to
refocusing on the bigger picture. That way I can still ensure quality without
getting so caught up in the details that it affects my productivity or the
team’s ability to meet the deadline. I also get impatient when projects run
past the deadline. I’m a stickler for due dates and get uncomfortable when
work is not completed on time. To avoid this, I’ve started being more
proactive and paying attention to how I’m reacting to make sure I’m being
motivational and helping foster efficiency.
Why Do You Want to Work Here?
I've seen KPMG (your company) consistently listed as one of the top places
to work. I've read employee testimonials and heard of KPMG enthusiasm for
encouraging employee growth through education, training, and vast
resources. I already know that engaged employees produce better work, and
that is evident in the most recent campaign you created. I would love to join
your innovative team, continue to create great work, and grow within the
company by learning new skills.
