A prominent player in the global electronics and technology industry.
LG’s success is its Research and Development (R&D) capabilities.

In Vietnam, LG Electronics established its R&D presence in 2016. By


2023, this center became a subsidiary, supporting LG’s electric
vehicle business, with a 23% market share in IVI systems.

Two R&D centers in Hanoi and Da Nang, LG Vietnam has become an


essential part of the company’s global value chain. LG’s partnership
with universities in Vietnam further highlights its commitment to
nurturing local talent and enhancing its R&D capabilities.
