SCOPE MANAGEMENT

Installation of Water Network and Provision of Erf Connections for 1000 sites in
Mautse Matati including the following:

*Site Establishment & De-establishment;


*Clearing & Grubbing
*Trench excavation & backfilling
*Bedding
*Laying of pipe of different size from 110mm to 200mm
*Connecting the existing structure to the new sewer and water reticulation
*Construction of the manholes
*Pipe jacking/Horizontal drilling
*Construction of plinths for the pipe at the stream crossing
*Finishing off and site reinstatement
*Site handover to client

SUB-CONTRACT MANAGEMENT OF CDP’S AND SMME’S

Razzmatazz commits itself to use CPD’s and SMME’s to conduct and carry out work
on project and aim to:

 Maximize funds available for maintenance;


 Develop Local employees for positions normally filled by imported staff;
 Satisfy policies and objectives and to uplift small local communities by means
of skill transfer;
 Meet the RDP principles and other applicable policies of the Governments,
both locally and nationally;
 Closely monitor and supervise all CDP’s and SMME’s and train, mentor, guide
and assist them with in all aspects of management, execution and completion
of their sub-contracts;
 Employ local labour for this project and supply training as needed;
 Local suppliers will be utilized for purchasing of material;
 Local security companies will be used.

utilized:

*Pipe Laying
*Construction of Manholes
Development
To develop sub-contractors in all aspects of contract management, construction
procedures and methods and financial management through guidance from the
Management Team and especially the Main Contractor.

Razzmatazz feels strongly in the development of these companies to such a high


level that they will function separately from any other company. Razzmatazz will help
to develop their entrepreneurial skills, technical skills and managerial skills so that
they can thrive as individual companies acquiring their own contracts and
successfully manage and complete these contracts through managing skills,
excellent workmanship and confidence.

FINANCES

 Adequate accounts with necessary suppliers;


 Financial Management skills will be improved with the help of our Internal
Bookkeeper;
 Contract Management skills will be improved with the help of our Contract’s
Manager;
 Accredited Technical and Administrative Training;
 Compiling a contract budget and meeting the set budget targets;
 Daily costing by individual teams;
 Compiling a monthly cost report before submitting their information and cost to
the accountants;
 Price analysis;
 Cash Flow will be made available to the sub-contractors at the start of the
contract by means of an interest free 30 day loan, so as to begin work under
the contract.

EQUIPMENT

Razzmatazz has an extensive fleet of construction vehicles and machines to do


all aspects of construction. Any plant that is not owned will be purchased or
rented from external companies. Razzmatazz will provide its sub-contractors with
any plant they need as to fulfill their obligations on site.

PROOF OF OWNERSHIP
MATERIAL

 Razzmatazz will identify material needs for each activity;


 We have access to our material supplier accounts or if needed, material will
be purchased;
 Testing of material will be done by an approve laboratory with a minimum of a
complete materials test as specified COLTO for asphalt surfacing and BTB.
