Session 1 (create and apply styles in the documents)

Ans.1 Parameter
When you use styles to format your document, each section is formatted the same and
therefore, provides a professional, clean-looking document.

Consistency
If you only need to update a given style, you just have to modify the style and the change will
be updated automatically in the entire document
Easier to Modify
Efficiency You create a style once and then apply it to any section in the document without
having to format each section individually.
Faster Navigation
Using styles allows you to quickly move to different sections in a document using the Document
Map feature.
Legal Outline Numbering Style

distinguishes between main points, subpoints, and further subdivisions. This format is often seen
in legal briefs, memoranda, contracts, or statutes.

Ans4.
Key Purposes of Text Wrapping:
Control the Layout:
Text wrapping helps to ensure that text flows in a way that complements the placement of
images, shapes, tables, or other objects. Without it, text may run into or overlap with the
object, making the document look cluttered or unprofessional.
Enhance Visual Design:
By adjusting text wrapping, you can create visually appealing documents where images or
shapes don't interrupt the reading flow, but are integrated seamlessly into the content. This is
especially important in newsletters, reports, and presentations.
Improve Readability:
Proper text wrapping ensures that text surrounds the object in an organized and readable way.
For example, with images, it allows the text to flow around the image, making the document
cleaner and easier to read.
Create a Professional Layout:
Text wrapping gives you more control over how graphics and text interact in your document.
This is particularly useful in creating visually balanced layouts for professional and creative
purposes.
