EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION:

1. Feed Water storage tank (Client Scope)

Feed will be made available to the inlet of feed on continuous basis as per suction capacity of pump. It's
at client's discretion to decide upon the storage mode of feed water.

FEED PUMP: (existing pump)

Feed pump is centrifugal pump having suitable discharge capacity. The feed pump is required for
allowing the water to pass through the water softener.

WATER SOFTENER

Water softeners operate on the ion exchange process. In this process, water passes through a media
bed, usually sulfonated polystyrene beads. The beads are supersaturated with sodium. The ion
exchange process takes place as hard water passes through the softening material. The hardness
minerals attach themselves to the resin beads while sodium on the resin beads is released
simultaneously into the water. When the resin becomes saturated with calcium and magnesium, it must
be recharged. The recharging is done by passing a salt (brine) solution through the resin. The sodium
replaces the calcium and magnesium which are discharged in the waste water. Hard water treated with
an ion exchange water softener has sodium added. According to the Water Quality Association
(WQA), the ion exchange softening process adds sodium at the rate of about 8 mg/liter for each
grain of hardness removed per gallon of water.

PRICE
Our Price for Design, Engineering, Manufacturing,
Supply of WATER SOFTENING PLANT as per
scope of supplies mentioned in our offer will be Rs. 32,500/-
Erection & Commissioning Extra
The above Prices are Ex Works, HYDERABAD & Excludes the following
Sales Tax (VAT) AS APPLICABLE
Delivery – As defined in our General Terms and 2-4 Weeks against receipt of advance.
Conditions 1 – 2 weeks thereafter for commissioning
WARRANTY Our liability in respect of any defect or failure of any
equipment supplied by us or any loss, injury or damage
attributable thereof is limited to making good by way of
replacement or rectification, defects which show up under
proper use therein provide the equipment is operated and
maintained strictly in accordance with our instructions and
arise entirely from proven faulty design, material or work
ship within a period of 12 months which from date of
commissioning of equipment or 18 months from date of
last supply whichever is earlier. At the end of the period
all our liabilities will cease under this warranty
Payment Terms on Supply
Advances 60% on Basic Value
Supply Payment 40% against Performa invoices With 100% Taxes
and Duties or against inspection at our works and
prior to dispatch
