EULOGY
BIRTH
The late Mama Susan Akoth Ouma was born on 24th February 1979 in Masit Village, Ugenya Sub– County,
Siaya County. She was the second born daughter to the Late Mzee Michael Oyugi and Mama Conslata Akello
(Nyamrembo) in the family of Seven siblings: Elizabeth Oyugi, Lucas Oyugi, Mary Oyugi, Paul Oyugi, Sara
Oyugi and Lilian Oyugi. The other siblings are: Peter Oyugi, Norbert Oyugi, Margaret, Jenifer, Charles and
Elizabeth Oyugi. Susan grew up as a well disciplined girl and God fearing.
WORK
The late Susan Ouma was a hardworking woman who ventured in different businesses up to the time of her
demise.
RELIGIOUS LIFE
The late Susan was a strong believer of Catholic faith, she was baptised and confirmed in the Roman Catholic
Church. Later in the year 2017 she tied knot with the love of her life Francis Ouma at St. Monica Nyamasaria
catholic church. In St. Monica, Susan was a member of Legion of Mary Devotional group, St. Monica and St.
Charles Lwanga Choir where she was a very strong soprano.
SICKNESS AND DEATH
The late Susan Ouma complained just of tiredness and slight headache on Thursday 20th June where
she was rushed to District Hospital (General) and succumbed on 21st at around 5.50am in the morning.
