- Pinta Flores Festival


- is celebrated in every November 5 in honor of San Pablo Borromeo

- Kali-Kalihan Festival
- is the annual celebration of culture, bountiful harvest, martial arts and tradition
every February 9, by virtue of Batas Pambansa Bilang 336 in 1983.

CALATRAVA
- Lilas Pandan
- The Hu’d’yaw Festival or also locally known as Lilas Pandan festival happens in June
every year.

TOBOSO

- Sag ahan Festival


- July 1 is charter day, Sag-Ahan Festival is named after the Sag- ahan River where fish
are abound.

ESCALANTE
- Manlambus Festival
- Celebrated every 30TH of May in celebration of its rich cultural heritage and glorious
past.

SAGAY

- Sinagayan Festival
- Celebrated every March 19. It is an annual expression of thanksgiving of the city for
the bountiful sea harvest, in honor of St. Joseph the Worker.

CADIZ
- Dinagsa Festival
- is a colorful ATI- atihan celebration of the people of Northern Negros. A celebration in
honor of Patron Sto. Nino (Infant Jesus) held last week of January

MANAPLA
- Manang Pula
- is a tribute to the town’s famous woman of substance and a celebration of the town’s
Patronal Saint, San Roque, which is held every August

VICTORIAS
- Kadalag an Festival
- also called Victorias City Charter Day, every March 21. The twenty-first of March
every year is a special nonworking holiday in the city

- Ugyonan Festival
- Ugyonan is a Hiligaynon term which means “COOPERATION” was conceptualized to
celebrate the Labor Day which is also the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, the
town’s Patron Saint and is being celebrated every 1st day of May.

SILAY
- Hugyaw Kansilay
- Celebrated Every 12th day of June, the city celebrates their annual festival called
Hugyaw Kansilay Festival.

TALISAY
- Minuluan Festival
- is a yearly festival in celebration of the passing commemoration of the Talisay’s
benefactor holy person, San Nicholas de Tolentino.

BACOLOD
- Masskara Festival
- its name a portmanteau, coined by the late artist Ely Santiago, from mass (a
multitude of people) and the Spanish word cara (face), thus forming MassKara, a
multitude of faces.
- The MassKara Festival is an annual festival with highlights held every 4 th Sunday of
October in Bacolod.

MURCIA
- Tinabuay Festival
- it is conducted in honor of its patroness, Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, and a
celebration as well as thanksgiving of bountiful harvest.

BAGO CITY
- Babaylan Festival
- celebrated every 19th day of February during the Charter Anniversary of the City of

- Pasalamat Festival
- Pasalamat Festival is a celebration held on Sunday nearest to the month of May .

LA CASTELLANA
- Bailes de Luces
- translates to “dances of lights.” It is a celebration in December to the first week of
January in La Castellana.

- Banana Festival
- is an agricultural and religious festival in the town of La Castellana, Negros
Occidental, Philippines every first week of April 1 to 5.
MOISES PADILLA
- Hinuptanan Festival
- The festival is a vibrant and colorful celebration that showcases the rich cultural
heritage and traditions of the local community.

ISABELA
- Panublion Festival
- Isabela celebrates the Bambanti (Scarecrow) Festival. The festivity showcases the
scarecrow dancing spectacles and agricultural booths.

- Tigkalalag Festival
- is celebrated every 2nd day of November. This is the Isabeleños way of giving respect
to the souls of our departed loved-ones in a form of merry-making and a way of
giving reminiscent of the mythical beings which our Filipino forefathers believed in.

PULUPANDAN
- Salapan Festival
- coined from the words “Salap” and “Pan.” Salap is linked to the traditional
“guinamos (shrimp paste)” industry, while Pan comes from the word Pandan, where
the town derived its name-Pulo ng Pandan or Isles of Pandan, due to the presence of
wild forest palms in the town in the early days.

VALLADOLID
- Pasundayag Festival
- It is a farmers festival in honor of the town’s patroness, Nuestra Señora de
Guadalupe featuring street dancing competition, arena festival dance showdown and
merry making.

SAN ENRIQUE
- Bulang Bulang Festival
- The word “ bulang” is the Hiligaynon word for cock fighting.

PONTEVEDRA
- Handurayo Festival
- The town celebrates the annual Handurayo Festival every May. Former actress Rio
Diaz served as vice mayor of the town from 1998 to 2004.

HINIGARAN
- Hinugyaw Festival
- “Hinugyaw” in Hiligaynon means rejoicing or jubilation. According to a legend, a
long-haired woman believed to be Saint Mary Magdalene, aborted the invasion of the
Moro pirates to the town. The festival is held every 30th day of April.

BINALBAGAN
- Balbagan Festival
- is celebrated on the 15th day of May as the highlight of the annual town fiesta
celebration. Dancers make a stopover at stations to perform their dance rituals.

HIMAMAYLAN
- Himayaan Festival
- this festival is celebrated every April 14-25 in honor and praise to God for the good
harvest and good life. There are merrymaking and street dancing along the city’s
main roads.

KABANKALAN
- Sinulog Festival
- the Kabankalan City version of the world famous “Ati-Atihan” indulged in by our
ancestors, is celebrated on the third week of January.

- Udyakan festival
- The colorful Udyakan Festival was created in 2005 to show to the world the rich
cultural heritage of Kabankalan, which was named the ‘Little Spain of Negros’ many
years ago.

ILOG
- Kisi Kisi Festival
- is celebrated every 25 March. “Kisi-kisi” is a Hiligaynon term for the fast movement
of crustaceans such as fish, prawns, crabs and shrimps that is abundant in the
municipality.

CAUAYAN
- Lubay Lubay Festival
- is a thanksgiving celebration of the locals abundant and bountiful harvest. Celebrated
every 25h of January.

SIPALAY
- Burangoy Festival
- Activities include kite workshops, kite exhibits, kite parades, kite flying competitions,
and kite showcases. As a highlight, the Burangoy Tourism Kite Festival

CANDONI
- Dinagyaw sa Tablas
- Dinagyaw Festival is a cultural, harvest, and religious festival , February 11. It is held
in time with the patronal fiesta of Our Lady of Lourdes.

HINOBA-AN
- Pagbana ag Festival
- The Pagbana-ag Festival identity is a rising sun and the 13 rays represent the 13
barangays that comprise the municipality.
